Pic From 3 years ago to a week ago today. 😑 I started cross fit consistently 3 years ago in August of 2014 .I got runners knee, shin splints, tendinitis 😥 you name it..I could not run 100 meters with out stopping. Now I sadly enjoy running 🔥 As for food changes I've done the zone and whole30. On the whole30 I dropped the most weight and felt the best. Then sure enough brought back the bad habits I used to have so I tried macros..did okay but felt I was not going anywhere and just maintained mostly. At times I dropped a few here and there but gained it back at double because of course sugar cravings and poor excuses. Sadly got discourage and began to over eat. 😔 This last March I was dealing with a lot of emotions and ate how I felt and started to yoyo a lot..now with life being a little more balanced and having more time to be sane I started eating better last week and sure enough I feel better inside and out (plus some how lost 6lbs since I weighed in last monday...😲 What? I think I was full of sh*t)..Ive cleaned up my diet by non processed foods, drinking more green tea, more veggies, more fiber, leaner meats, healthy fats, less starch, and of course little sugar as possible. Seriously ..eating real food is key..I know I am only human and time to time eat a bad ass burger with fries but the point is..fuel your body for how you want to feel..keep it simple, keep it clean. #motivated#crossfit#weightloss#Eatclean#eatsimple#realfood#zone#whole30#paleo#kickbadhabits#fuckmacros#behealthy#mtogdencrossfit
This quote really spoke to me when I was recently listening to a podcast on the mind. Your mind is like a garden, only plant seeds that you want. By flooding our mind with the negatives, "weeds" begin to grow, blocking your outlook of positivity. I often do not even realize that these negative thoughts are harboring in my mind until I really think about it. This is where self-awareness is key. There's no use for the negativity as it inhibits growth and your ability to live a happy life. Plant what you want in your metaphorical garden and care for it. You will not believe the difference you will feel on your outlook on life. Things will just make sense.
