I perceive life as a series of meaningful coincidences. Every person you meet changes your life in minute ways. These minute details come together only to form the life that you live now.
I met her on my first day at Mcleodganj. Having previously uploaded a picture of her, I was charmed by her beautiful innocence.
After that, I went for a trek to Triund and on returning back to see the Dalai Lama Temple, I encountered her again.
The first time I had talked to her, she appeared quite forlorn, seeming to posess a maturity in her innocence.
Hence, the second time I saw her, I was surprised to see her laughing along with her brother and her father. She did not quite look like the same child.
As it turns out, she saw me too and smiled and I swear I melted. She pulled her father and came to talk to me.
Her father was happily surprised as he did not quite take his daughter to be someone who'd take a special liking to a stranger.
This little moment was one of my favorite highlights of the whole trip. It may not appear to be a big deal for many but it's a beautiful memory on repeat for me.
