Hi my name is Kendal! I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in the fall to major in social work. I’m currently a senior at an early college and will graduate with my Associates in Arts and Science. I love the beach, getting coffee, going out to parties and also just staying in and having a movie marathon with friends. I plan on rushing at college and can’t wait for endless beach days at wilmy! 🦅🌊
This 55’ motorcycle jump over a 10’ wall towing X Games Skater @chadfernandez1 received a Taurus World Stunt nomination for the Universal Studios’ film “Accepted.” The script didn’t mention a motorcycle jumping over a wall towing a skateboarder, but after a conversation with Director Steve Pink, he and I came up with the idea. He asked me, “Have you ever done that before?” No, I replied, but I will figure it out. The stunt entailed building a $60,000 plywood platform running across the road, curb and grass on the other side of the wall leading to the jump ramp. In rehearsal, the ramp was mocked up with Pat Romano’s jump ramps. The runway was needed for Chad because he was riding a skateboard holding onto a handle welded to the frame of the motorcycle. When the AD called action, my world became silent and vision dark around the edges-what’s described as tunnel vision. It was wild. I had never experienced that before. A line was painted across the runway with cones on either side, so Chad knew where to let go. If he held on too long, he would land on me and the motorcycle. My biggest concern was Chad not making the water, there was about 30’ of concrete between the wall and the water. So after the jump, I couldn’t wait to get to the surface and see if Chad made the water. He did! After a soggy playback session in video village, Steve called “Moving on!” We got the jump in one, and it was the first film I coordinated and 2nd Unit Directed. It was also the 1st stunt my Mom was on set and able to watch. She was just glad I wasn’t getting shot-she hates watching me get killed. #fbf

YOU ARE PRECIOUS. A sight to behold. Fascinating and worthy of the greatest love that exists. I don't know what it is that leaves you fascinated and speechless. Whether it's starlit skies or grand sceneries, these things that you look at and wonder at their majesty are simply nothing in comparison to you and the place you hold in the heart of the Maker of the Universe. God's masterpiece. The heavens declare His glory but you were chosen to be the image, the representation of who He is. You are what creation is in awe of and it holds its breathe waiting for you to realize just WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST. Marked with the name of the Almighty, you are a force to be reckoned with. But you'll only know who you are when you truly realize WHOSE YOU ARE.
