PODCAST RITUAL + @jasonlsilva : At the end of each episode, we shout out to someone who fascinates us. In episode 54, Randy brought our attention to Jason Silva, the host of BrainGames and creator of Shots of Awe. Jason is a philospher who explores things most of us don't think about every day. If you want to stretch your mind, go give @jasonlsilva a follow.
On our last night living in our apartment, I took this photo right at sunset from our roof deck. I think I haven't posted this until now because of the whole me-having-a-hard-time-closing-that-last-chapter thing. We're obviously very happy to be in our house, but I'll miss that view and the memories ☺️✌🏼❤️#skiesover
Is 26 too early to be worrying about getting a stroke? Because that's what I spent today worrying about after a serious scare earlier in the morning.
Here's a photo from a relatively less stressful time earlier this summer: when @mlstolzoff and I enjoyed strong frozen margaritas, crispy churros, and overstuffed chicken-with-everything-in-it quesadillas on the rooftop deck at Felipe's in Harvard Square. 🌯
I love Felipe's. At my old job I feel like I ate there once a week when the weather was nice enough to walk from the office.
We all have that friend that we don't always get a chance to talk to daily or even weekly, but you always tag each other in giveaways and your friendship still gets stronger with time. Well, she's mine & also one hot momma x2 💛 can you believe that?!
Are you an ASMR freak? If so, it may just be the cure to your insomnia & anxiety -- really! Find out more on KellyGolightly.com. (link in my profile) 📷 @fredbaby13 p.s. Thanks @mrorlandosoria for changing my life, TBH.
My office wife (for life) has a new husband! Grateful to have been a part of Kevin and Brit's beautiful day. Britt-NAY, thanks for being one of my nearest and dearest friends. HAVE ALL THE FUN IN MEXICO. 💕 #forevergoin
Playing some Melody Gardot and treating my plants to her soulful jazz, today.
The jury is still out whether music can scientifically impact plants - but I believe it has to be true!
Here's hoping these cuttings and my yet-to-emerge seedlings have a love for jazz. ✨
Happy #tunesday !
How cool was the eclipse today?!? We didn't have a total one in Delaware, but it was still pretty neat. I took some photos on my big camera through the free eclipse glasses from @warbyparker & then just put them all together in photoshop. My daughter in Nashville got to see it in totality & said it was amazing!
Rearranged the shelves in this corner of our house and decided to make it a little reading nook 📚🤓👌🏼It's been a slow process getting this house to feel like a home and right now, so this is a pretty big win today!
Happy Monday, friends! This was the best Monday I've had in a long time. I'm trying very hard to adjust my attitude after my negative week, and I'm off to a good start! The whole solar eclipse thing didn't hurt 😉🙌🌘 ummmm on a totally unrelated note, here's some super pretty SPARKLING ROSÉ SANGRIA! It's on the blog. Link in profile. 😘😘

Did you know the hibiscus flower is traditionally worn by Tahitian and Hawaiian girls. If the flower is worn behind the left ear, the woman is married or in a relationship. If the flower is worn on the right, she is single.
I wish I had teleportation powers so I can come to Mexico and be at the US any time I want and be able to take people with me by touch. 😭❤ That, and I want to be an airbender. >.> haha
Action is magic. When you are trying to decide something, when you've thought of every pro and con in the universe, when you feel stuck, action is your magic wand. It is through action that we find clarity. So take whatever wild beast of a thought or problem you have, and find one small action you can take to find clarity. Swirl that magic wand and watch what happens!

It may seem small to some, but I biked 12 miles and I'm really proud of myself. I'm feeling really grateful this evening to have a friend like @steph_hinrichs . She has persevered though me saying "nah" to her texts about riding this whole summer, and finally got me out on my bike again (mostly by promising food at the halfway point 😂) . Sometimes you just need somebody to keep asking, because one day the answer will be yes.
