There's something magical about the fire that makes me admire it for long periods of time, and there's something about the wave sounds that makes me feel relaxed. Why not have both at the same time?
When was the last time that you stopped to appreciate nature?
Last big climb of yesterday over the Col Girardin which marks the boundary between the Hautes-Alpes and the Alpes de Haute-Provence. Barely seen a sole in 5 days, just mountain after mountain all to ourselves. Yay!
#MancrushMonday goes out to my husband @jimmy_conover with this photo, because I am so grateful for all the incredible places we go together and all the beautiful things we get to see and experience! I'm also grateful for his impeccable itineraries that allow us to see more and do more!
This was the ferry. After the dense fog diaspiated we were able to see the city at the horizon, so we went out and I snapped this picture of my brother. The waves started to get bigger so balancing without holding anything was something hard, I was truly scared to drop my camera on the floor, I didn't.
I had the privilege of testing the half insert by @hyperlite_mountain_gear for my Ultamid 2 this summer. Current and future Ultamid owners, here are a couple of my honest thoughts: °
•The Ultamid 2 half insert is perfect for solo adventurers such as myself, who adventure into environments that can be wet and buggy. °
•The most important reason to own an Ultamid half insert is the additional protection it affords against the elements and insects. •
•It's convenient having a separate area from my sleeping space where I can keep my wet/dirty clothes and gear. There is definitely more than enough space for my mountain bike there as well. I'd definitely use this set up for a bike packing trip in the future.
•The half-insert packs down smaller and weighs less than the full insert. It can also be pitched by itself for a maximum star viewing experience on a clear night. °
•The Ultamid 2 is a palace for two and a kingdom for one. Paired with the half insert, it becomes the ultimate adventure home. 📸 by @tayboone10

There was so much fog that you couldn't see the coast! It was taken on a ferry crossing a big wide river, at one point on the middle of the river you couldn't see any of the sides, it was almost like being at a doldrum, luckily the ferry was not wind driven haha
