Took some much needed me time today. I've been stuck in a rut for a few months now & let me tell you, it's taken quite the toll! But I've been slowly emerging from that rut more lately & decided to spend the day in Duluth before & after (another) new job orientation.
I bought all my favorite foods (things I can actually eat!) & took my sweet time doing it, at Whole Foods, found lots of new goodies to try that should 🤞 be okay for my angry body. I got my favorite laundry soap & goodies, at Target, without spending $8957392! I've been out of it for far too long & tide/gain just aren't Mrs. Meyers lavender. & lastly... I became fully committed in a fantastic relationship! Love him enough to put a ring on it. His name is Carl & we are going to go on so many adventures! Just you wait & see. I decided since I can't manage to be good enough for a man, I probably shouldn't force a pet to love me, so this my plan Z! ☺️ swipe left, like I do on all Tinder profiles, for pictures of the beaut!

•Tidal wave •
So, I typically dream a lot. But when I wake up, I do not remember any of the details. But this morning I woke up and remembered a few. I wrote them down and here’s what I have: I was asking someone to walk down to the shoreline to grab my belongings. Because I was too scared to go alone. so they went with me, and as we began to walk down.. a huge tidal wave came over us. I didn’t drown. I was actually more like a mermaid or a fish. And it allowed me to save 2 people from drowning. and that’s all I remember.
This is what I found when I looked up dreams involving tidal waves: “Tidal waves often appear in our dreams when are under a lot of pressure or when significant change is occurring. They may be a an indication that we feel a little overwhelmed, that maybe we fear we won’t be able to cope or adjust with what we see in our own future. When we have these tidal wave dreams there is often an area of our life that we are not looking at clearly, or that we are avoiding. Tidal wave and tsunami dreams remind us that if we don’t confront and deal with things that are out of balance in our life, then they will confront us first!” Grateful to have time for reflection during my practice today to dig deeper into how I am feeling in life and wich areas I want to work on ✨🌿 Any insight into what dreams of tidal waves mean? 💕
It’s so funny because when I think about my arms, I don’t think they look like this...I picture them being all “perfect” with the right muscles in the right spots...sounds silly right!? 😋But when you start a routine you FEEL awesome!! When you make that lifestyle change, your goals WILL come, you just need to keep going and give it timeeee! Be excited about your end goal but don’t forget about those smaller steps to get you there!!!
Here are a few tips say✌🏼to yo-yo dieting:
🔹Find a nutrition plan that you can actually stick to! If there is something that you LOVE - you don’t have to give it up, just work it into your plan.
🔹Develop an exercise plan that will fit your schedule! If you have 3 little ones like me, or maybe are not able to work in that extra 30+ minutes in a car/changing/etc. maybe it’s time to switch to an at home workout program!
🔹Find support!! This will be so helpful while you are building new habits. Have someone join you or check in with you!
I am ALL about the realistic lifestyle change - something that you can do foreverrr! If you need some help getting started or an extra cheerleader, reach out! I would love to help!💪🏼💕🤸♂️
