I think that just about every post here is about how much I love sunrises and sunsets, but every weekend I try and get to watch another one, and then I want to post about it - this sunset was last Friday night on the summit of Ampersand, looking down over Ampersand Lake and the Seward Range. The warm light really emphasized the texture of the rock on the bald summit of Ampersand, so I walked around looking for features to use in my composition, and this crack seemed like a great leading line.
While I'm at it, here's a snap of yesterday's sunset 😍 taken at #arctichenge , and only 5 hours later the northern lights feintly showed face for a little bit and stretched out on the horizon for us. Our first 2 days here may have been cursed with the most horrible weather but the last 2 have been fantastic!
The Cuban people are warm, engaging and genuine. On our tours you have the opportunity to stay with Cubans in their homes. It is a wonderfully rewarding way to see and feel the real Cuba. #cuba#traveltocuba#adventuretravel
Real talk: Gorillas are amazing. We share 98 percent of our DNA with them so the way they move and emote and gesture feels oddly familiar. When I look into their eyes, I feel connected to them. They are kind and gentle and have a depth that sometimes seems more human than animal. And I love them. ❤️🦍❤️🦍
