As a Project Engineer, Rachel's responsibilities at c2renew are ever changing. She primarily focuses on sourcing, manufacturing, materials testing, product design, and product analysis. Starting out as an intern while attending NDSU for her Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Rachel has quickly moved through the company and become an essential member of the c2crew. When not in the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband curling and volunteering at the Fargo-Moorhead Curling Club, relaxing at the lake, or working on side projects in her garage.
I wish I could have showed my Mom what I did over the Summer in Morocco...I saw her before she passed and I got the chance to give her a sterling sliver jewelry set and a Jalaba from Tiznit for her birthday that I missed...I was planning to go back and bring her back even more stuff from Africa...The research was on biological control of plants pathogens 🌱🌿🍃...I miss my mom she will always be in my heart 👽🚀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I LOVE YOU MOM!!!
Walter Villadei was the first Italian astronaut candidate to complete the basic training in Russia, therefore becoming the first Italian Cosmonaut.
I had the opportunity to meet him these past two days during the last event of World Space Week 2017. He is a great person, he gave me many advices and we had a good conversation about the future manned exploration of Mars - he believes that we might arrive there before 2050 but it's difficult to say and a collaboration will be of course necessary.
Hearing him talk about his Russian training was really inspiring and it just confirmed to me once again how much I want to do this in my life and I just feel even more determined than yesterday to achieve my dreams.💪 .

Excited to announce I am now the Vice President of Education and Programs at the @frontiersofflightmuseum #throwbackthursday I attended @tuskegeeuniversity the only HBCU with an accredited #aerospaceengineering program and it still is. It's also one of the top colleges and universities with an Aerospace programs in US for all schools. I have worked at three fortune five companies including Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Raytheon. Four years ago after being laid off, I decided to start a new career in education based nonprofits. I started with completing nonprofit management certification. I have worked in after school programs(#hearthouse ), high school(#NAF academies) and college\workforce readiness(#dcccd initiatives) I have adopted a #growthmindset by embracing #failingforward Now I am back to combining all aspects of my career in #aerospace with #k12education A dream come true yet failures are a part of the process. I've been reading up on Tierra Guinn and just seeing what she has achieved so far is beyond mind blowing. She is currently working with Boeing as a Rocket Structural Design and Analysis Engineer for the Space Launch System that they are building for NASA.
