Alright boys and anyone who wants to jump in!! Here's this weeks challenge I posted on Monday in my instaStories.
1. 15 - Burpee Tuck jumps ( focus on height and power!!)
2. 15 Reverse Lunge hops ( use these as recovery for your burpees in part one, your legs may burn out but the goal is for constant movement and to continue to fire the muscles)
3. 15 Scissor plank Tuck
No stopping keep that body moving, this move also promotes partial leg recovery since your upper body and core is going to be holding you steady and in control.
4. 5 fast feet high knee with 5 burpees
One set = both left and right don't stop until you are through both sides. Quick breather then back to it and move fast!
Foot needs to come to level out with the top of the box. Focus on accuracy, speed and power. As you progress you want your feet to move fast and with more power, have the transition as fast as possible.
The plyo box in the video is a 24". With all 4 moves take as little rest time as possible, keeping up the intensity and power coming through the moves. .
New blog post is live 🔥🔥. "The Joy of Movement" strips away the exercise aspects of moving better & talks about...yes how we find joy in moving everyday & how we have to move to get to whatever we enjoy doing...and yes that is my mom 😍 enjoying Coronado beach as I coax her to walk closer to the waves..😅. I have been on a SERIOUS rollercoaster these last few months when it comes to my health and fitness journey 🎢
My body is NOWHERE near where I feel my best and picking at each flaw is becoming a habit 🤦🏼♀️
This next 6 weeks from Thanksgiving 🦃 to New Years 🍾 is HARD-- if you say it's not then kudos to YOU!-- and the average person gains up to 10lbs 😳
My goal is to NOT be part of the statistic, to maintain the progress I've been making (and remembering how I far I've come from that girl on the left) and I want 10 ladies to join me!! 👯
We'll help each other survive the holidays-- have some treats, but also have our veggies, workout 30 minutes (or less) a day and have fun bringing in 2018!! Let's do it TOGETHER! 🤶🏻
