I didn't grow up in Texas, so whenever we'd vacation in the southern states where there were palm trees I was always fascinated by them. I had a dream of living where I could see palm trees everyday when I grew up, but I never expected that dream to come true! I've been in San Antonio for 6 years now and I still have to pinch myself sometimes that yes, I'm living among palm trees! My point is, besides boring you with my life story, that weddings are all about you, who you are and what you love. Make your wedding "you" and it'll be the most memorable event.
Happy #trainertiptuesday from the lovely @kaitie_k!! Here's some advice on the goblet squat from today's workout! •
She says "Goblet squats are great for all levels. It's a strength exercise that also helps improve your power moves, stabilises the hip and knee joints, and if you hold the weight correctly on your chest, it increases the intensity on your core! •
🚨FORM TIP 🚨Keep the weight in the heels so you can wiggle your toes and chest up. Focus on hinging at your hips and sitting into those glutes!"
The latest Alamo Plaza master plan was unveiled last night. Among the changes: Alamo Street would be closed from Houston to Commerce and therefore opened up to pedestrians. Glass walls would mimic the Alamo's walls at the time of the battle. The cenotaph would be moved a few blocks south of the plaza. The main entrance would be the South Gate you'd approach walking north on Alamo Street.
What do you think? Love it? Hate it? Have mixed feelings?

This is just a piece of a larger panographic image, but Instagram wouldn't let me post the entire picture here. Too big.
I launched the drone up over the riverwalk by Commerce street and took around 70 shots, each time moving the drone/camera slightly until I got the entire plaza overlaped and photographed. Then its just a matter.of letting Photoshop stitch all the images together.
It's really easy, actually. To decide what type of person you want to be. To choose how we should be known as a country. Or how you want this world we're living in to one day be remembered.
It's easy to find the answer, if there was ever a question--in the history of places like this. Where people chose valor and integrity. Where they chose the hard thing, because it was the right thing.
If you're confused about what deserves our support now, look at what we valued enough in the past to remember.
