SWEDISH TRADING CARDS SIGNED BY OBI-WAN KENOBI(SIR ALEC GUINNESS)
IN ORIGINAL ENVELOPE.
In 1984 Magnus Eriksson, a member of the Swedish fanclub - Rebellalliansen, wrote a letter to the late Sir Alec Guinness, for many of us known as Obi-Wan Kenobi from Star Wars.
In their own fanzine - Imperiejournalen, based in Tygelsjö and Nybro, they published some of the adresses to the actors from Star Wars.
Magnus Eriksson(14) explained in the letter that he would be the happiest kid in the world if Alec would sign his swedish Nellba trading cards.
What we have here is the letter they arrived in, with poststamp from Petersfield. 3 Nellba cards all signed by Alec, all cards got smooch marks where you can see that they belong together.
We are the brokers of these and we have them in our possession now.
In respect of Sir Alec Guiness - 1914-2000

After reading the novel a little bit ago I'm finally watching Doctor Zhivago movie. Such a famous movie...it really is as good as its reputation. So far I love it, so beautifully done and follows the book storyline really well. I confess that soon as I saw Alec Guiness I was sold but the whole cast is superb. Omar is just dreamy and I just adore the russian fashion, especially Geraldine's pink and grey travelling outfit. There is also a more recent mini series with Keira Knightly which I'll watched if I can find it, Keira seemed to be all the remakes of things I love (Pride and Prejudice)...tbh I really never like them as they are not as good but she is always lovely.
Been a longtime fan of this gentleman’s work, as well as annoying people with my impression of his voice. Actually that was probably the first thing that stuck out to me when I encountered him like so many of us as Obi-Wan Kenobi. But this little tidbit is something I only just realized about his name. #alecguinness#obiwankenobi#britishstageactor#anagrams#maytheforcebewithyou
Sir Alec Guinness braves winter in London wearing a heavy double-breasted wool overcoat. The horizontal gorge of the lapels have a distinctly 1950s feel, as does the addition of a trilby and leather gloves, despite being shot in 1977.
