I stepped out into the white. Into Welllington Square.

Golden sunsets in a wild untouched snowy landscape. One of the best things to happen in a cold winter. It looks promising this year, so I definitely hope that there'll be more snow than in the last two years. #internationalmountainday
A few weeks ago I was asked to join @bryanadamc and @alexiistherese for a special project in Oregon. When we weren’t working on the project, we took the opportunity to visit some of the classic PNW spots.
When I first heard about Mount Assiniboine, I was pretty confident that I would never actually see it with my own eyes because of how deep in the backwoods this place is. Thanks to @tannerwendellstewart’s ingenuity, we were able to visit Mount Assiniboine for sunrise and still make it to Tim Hortons before breakfast hours were over.

Exploring Tahiti was awesome. Check out part 1 of my blog to find out how to get there, things to do and more about the island! Link in bio. P.s. I pretty much lived in board shorts and tanks the whole week!

My family life + my work life all together, all summed up in this very photo. When I first became a Mama, I had no idea how I’d be able to do both. Almost 5 years into this #mommyhood and I think I’ve managed to balance most of it. I am lucky that sometimes I am able to combine the two together, and then this happens. 😍 ❤️ #evalempertphotography
That’s the great thing about the moment...
It happens every moment
the great uncertainty
a never ending exploration

Happy Friday! For #FridayIntroductions , I want to introduce you to a lesser-known element of the @scriptandvine visual brand: the submark.
This little mark fits nicely inside circular and square spaces where my full logo can't fit. The name Script + Vine came from a very long brainstorming process that mostly consisted of me grumbling about liking words that no one would be able to spell without googling it. I wanted to be "Elysian Design" or "Selcouth Creative." But then I decided that I didn't want any "support words" in my brand name because I wanted something that could evolve and change as I do—if I ever open a brick and mortar store that has goods beyond just paper, I wanted something could easily be a clean name for it.
So then I thought about the work I did/do—predominantly lettering and floral illustration—and by making lists upon lists of descriptors, related words, and synonyms, I finally landed upon two words that, when put together, made sense describing what I do in an abstract sort of way. And my submark mimics that concept. S + V; leaves + nib.
Every artist needs an outlet for creativity and I have been so fortunate to have met so many other artists in the wedding industry who love to unleash their creativity in impromptu projects just for the sake of practicing art. This project was one of those I had with @airhairandmakeup from earlier this year. This one was about femininity against the backdrop of lush and life-ful spring. Hope this brings a breath of "warm" air to your chilly winter days.
Every time I come back to my childhood home I go for a walk in the fields. The grass is always greener and my head always clearer.
