@Regrann from @vintage_vegan_: The latest celebrity to go vegan is singer-song writer Jason Derulo.
He revealed the choice in lifestyle change to Men's Health in an exclusive interview. "Yeah, so I'm vegan now," he told the male-focused wellness publication. "I feel lighter. I feel healthier. My eyeballs are super-white." He added, noting that the change is also affecting him physically.
He also discussed the food he eats as a vegan. He may have an affinity for greens and lentils, but the "Swalla" singer admits that he still craves things that taste like his old eating habits. "You really need to have a bunch of greens and ... things you enjoy as well.
Spinach is something I could eat consistently ... and mushrooms, and vegetable soup. I love lentils. I love all the different things you can do with jackfruit.
And tofu (😬) when need something that tastes like a chicken nugget or something.”

Been vegan for 5 years & finally decided to stop fckin' around & eat whole foods. Before photo was towards the end of summer. I was massively depressed, pushing everyone away, suicidal & had crippling anxiety. I was OVER feeling this way. I managed to lose over 20lbs following Dr. Sebi's Nutritional Guide, doing yoga & fasting a few day's out of every week. I found out about Dr. Sebi in 2012 (I just couldn't deny him ❤). I followed the Nutritional Guide, lost weight but still didn't take my health seriously. I told myself no matter how many times I fell off, I would one day stick to it & that day is FINALLY here. I'm still not where I'd prefer to be physically, however I am well on my way. My MIND is set. Nothing will stop you when you place mind over matter. After photo taken yesterday, I now eat 100% alkaline, RAW VEGAN & have fallen in love with mySELF. Be "selfish" & put your wellness first, there are no regrets in doing so! Going for abs next update 😆. May you have peace & balance within you.

Your body’s alkaline and acid balance, also known as pH, can affect your overall well being. All foods have the ability to change your body’s normal pH. The fluids and tissues do not stay in these fluctuating states of “too acidic” or “too alkaline” because the body is always striving toward balance. However, imbalance and disease can set in when the body is daily dealing with too many acid-forming foods.
The theory is that some foods, like meat, wheat, refined sugar, and processed foods, cause your body to produce acid, which is bad for you. Eating specific foods that make your body more alkaline, on the other hand, can protect against those condition.
Foods that are emphasized as part of an alkaline diet include whole fruits and vegetables, raw foods, green juices, beans, and nuts. Foods that are acidic include high-sodium foods, processed grains, too much meat and animal protein, added sugars.
Dr. Sebi’s Philosophy and Methods:
Dr. Sebi, a pathologist, herbalist, biochemist and naturalist, believed that the root of all disease was excessive mucous–that the mucous was the effect of an out of balance biochemical state within the body.
Dr. Sebi also suggested that in addition to a plant based diet, periods of fasting as a way to flush out toxins and allow the body to rebuild itself upon clean, healthy and vibrant cells. “Foods comprised of natural plants, which means its constitution is of an Alkaline nature. This is important- and instrumental in our success in reversing pathologies- because disease can only exist in an environment that is Acid; thus it is inconsistent to utilize inorganic substances when treating disease because they are of an acid base.” Dr. Sebi “Although the natural vegetation cell food compounds were designed to extract mucus from a given area of the body, it is also necessary for the body to be cleansed as a whole. What makes our compounds unique is the manner in which they work to cleanse and nourish the entire body.” Dr. Sebi #drsebi#drsebithehealer#foods#feedyourspirit#alkalinefoods#alkalinevegan#alkalineliving#veggies#fruits#veganfood#vegeterian#higerconsciousness#cellfood

Human skin can make large amounts ofvitamin D when lots of skin is exposed and the sun is high in the sky. Your body is designed to get the vitamin D it needs by producing it when your bare skin is exposed to sunlight. The part of the sun's rays that is important is ultraviolet B (UVB).Vitamin D plays a substantial role in the regulation of calcium and maintenance of phosphorus levels in the blood, two factors that are extremely important for maintaininghealthy bones. We need vitamin D to absorb calcium in the intestines and to reclaim calcium that would otherwise be excreted through the kidneys.
Most of the health benefits appear to come from the production of vitamin D. These include reduced risk of bladder, breast, and colorectal cancer, but also that sun exposure reduces risk of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma through some effect other than vitaminD.

Follow: @vintage_vegan_ Please one of the most important things to do when transitioning to a vegan or plantbased lifestyle.
Read the INGREDIENTS!!!
I can’t stress that enough.
There are so many products labeled “vegan friendly” and they contain dairy, soy, artificial flavors, canola oil, yeast, wheat gluten and if it contains just too many chemicals.
It is not vegan friendly, it’s not even food.
PROTEIN is not important. You will get protein from the fruits and green leafy vegetables you eat.
You do not need excessive amounts of protein to build muscle.
Also read and research foods and there origins.
You should not be eating everybody ancestral food.
Every race is biologically different and assimilate food differently. Look it up if you don’t believe me.
No #blood or #starch over here
