For those days that start at 4am, a box turns into my desk, and I promised Taylen we'd be at the pool a hour ago, this crazy mom 😬 uses a Level-1 to get my protein in on the go. •
To lose fat, our bodies need to be in an anabolic state-burning fat and building muscle. If we are not in an anabolic state, our body is in a catabolic state-storing fat and tearing down muscle. There is no in between either, you're either anabolic (burning fat) or catabolic (storing fat). •
By eating a complete protein source every 3 hours, the body is able to maintain the anabolic state. I do pretty good on getting 4 meals of whole foods in a day, but like I said, on crazy days that I'm going from 4am-10pm, something's gotta give.
This is where I use Level-1. I'll quickly mix 1 scoop with 5oz of water, and then eat either an apple or almond butter packet with it. •
With Level-1 you won't experience an upset stomach, weird burps, or a gross after taste. This is because the protein is a LOW TEMPERATURE processed protein. Without getting to nitty gritty 🤓 this just means that the protein is very bio available for your body to break down and utilize. Very few companies process their proteins this way, but it is crucial for us as the consumers.
I've had a Level-1 shake at least once a day for 5 years now. This shits good. From the way it's made to the way it tastes, it doesn't disappoint! SERIOUSLY, friends, DO NOT SKIP MEALS! Doing that does not help you in anyway to reach your health goals (not to mention, nobody wants you hangry). •
