Did we go out to eat last night?? Nope! This scrumptious creation was all me 👌 homemade oil free fries, vegan Alfredo orzo pasta, boca spicy chick'n patty on a potato bun with homemade vegan honey mustard. I surprised myself with the Alfredo too! It taste similar to the dry pasta side dishes you can get at the grocery store pretty cheap. Ingredients :
- 1/4 cup well mashed Avocado
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup whole flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips/ chunks
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp lemon juice

For the frosting :
- 1/2 well mashed avocado
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder/ melted chocolate
- 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions :
- preheat the oven to 180* C
- mix together all the ingredients
- pour the brownies batter into the  tin and bake for 25-30 minutes, or  a toothpick inserted into the center comes out moist with few crumbs (not clean)
- make the frosting

🌽 A non-conventional Corn Soup.
.
All ingredients are natural with no artificial seasonings ~ "don't mess with naturalness, just enhance it!
.
The onions, garlic, bay leave and cilantro are sautéed in an olive oil butter with a pinch of Turmeric Powder with potatoes, carrots and squash. .
The "dumplings" are made with pure white corn meal flavored with some red chili flakes, cumin and rosemary.
All flavors boiled and married each in homemade vegetable stock and fresh coconut milk.

Who said you can't fuel up your protein intake while eating plant based foods? Who said it's difficult to change your diet to only or mostly plant based foods?

Technically, nothing comes easy. Changes tend to become difficult. To get what you want, to reach a goal, to get you're dream job, body, house ,  spouse.. one should sacrifice in order to make these dreams reality. 
However, eating what you love is not a dream come true it's simply a lifestyle. You're already eating it. The only small difference is you're either cutting back some and/or adding more of. .

It's like an exercise regimen. Of course it's hard and it will always be but your body will eventually change and become stronger, just like your change in food aka diet. But without proper choices, changes, how successful would you be in the gym?? .

Thank you to my awesome good friend for the picture @mpoweringmelody she's my all time natural, Gogreen, food lover. To highlight our Spanish heritage she transformed our moro to a healthier version using black lentils with quinoa. Originally this is made with white rice and any type of peas. And Instead of chicken stew she packed it up with her signature style salad. Can you see that kale though? Lol (packed with protein, iron , vitamin K and more) .
