Dealing with some crazy stuff in life right now, but this photo from my trip two weeks ago with @californiaalmonds makes me smile! (sponsored travel)
I had such a blast learning all about where almonds come from, getting a refresher on their nutritional benefits, and taking away some new recipe inspiration.

a brave attempt at a double shot tit today but unfortunately this young soldier was shot down with an early sip. clumpy froth and a too-cool temp brought down this fallen friend. his only saving grace was a decent bean and friendly commanding officer (👱🏼☕️). 3/5 almondtitties™
I baked this delicious Pear and Almond Cake yesterday. The recipe is by gorgeous Sam @wholesomepatisserie. Check out her amazing account. It's gluten and dairy free. ✅Almonds are high in protein, fiber, healthy monosaturated fats, magnesium, manganese and Vitamin E. 🔺 Protein is required by all cells in the body to support the immune system and build and repair muscle. 🔺Healthy fats lower cholesterol while magnesium is required for healthy nerve function and muscle. 🔺Vitamin E protects against heart disease and cancer. ✅Pears 🍐are not only juicy and delicious but have a lot of health benefits. 🔺They are high in dietary fibre which helps digestive health, keeps you regular and lower cholesterol. 🔺Additionally fibre assists the elimination of toxins in the body. 🔺Pears 🍐 also contain high amounts of Vitamin C and other antioxidants important for a healthy immune system. 😀. Stay healthy. Our staple raw insecticide-free Australian almonds on special this week! ✨
Almonds are great in a trail mix, chopped up in salads or on top of porridge, as the base in raw desserts, ground up to use in baking or just as they are in a snack (we love them with Brazil nuts and inca berries). You could even make your own almond milk or butter.
Special ends on Sunday, come in and stock up! 💚

My oldest turned 4 today! 🎉 I'm trying a new chocolate cake recipe that calls for almond pulp, so here I am making almond milk! It is surprisingly easy and way more affordable (and more tasty!) than store-bought. Plus, the almonds have been properly soaked and there no preservatives, gums, or additives (except a dash of my mom's killer maple syrup)! 😋
