Door de jaren heen zijn de meeste verdwenen maar toen ik 7 jaar oud was, had ik super veel moedervlekjes. Andere kinderen vroegen aan mij; Ray, waarom heb jij er zoveeeel? Waarop ik antwoordde dat elk 'moeder'vlekje staat voor de liefde die ik heb voor mijn mama. Toen ik dit als 7 jarige vertelde aan mijn moeder, begon ze spontaan te huilen. Dit omdat ik toen nog zo'n schatje was en ik er nog niks van begreep. Maar nog steeds hou ik elke dag zoveel van je mam! 1. Doing incline overhead triceps extension trains the long head of your triceps muscles *there are three muscles in the triceps* allowing your tricep definition to really pop! -
2. Cables tricep pull downs are restricted and if you are not doing it right you are not really hitting those heads of the triceps!!

3. You can’t really go heavy like you can with an over head on those cables and dumbbells because you will lose a good form. -
4. You have a good structure while doing an overhead triceps extension and there are many variables you can do.

1 exercise for each of the 3 heads of the muscle.

Bench - 82.5kg - 4x6

Squats felt particularly well this session.  However, my left knee still not feeling 💯. The pain is especially felt in the patellar tendon during the eccentric portion of the squat. Any suggestions of self treatment exercises?

Bench not looking too great, was pretty puffed out from the squats so didn't pay much attention to form. Couldn't stay as tight as per usual and need to get used to using this bench.

I can't believe I'm already 22😣 aún recuerdo cuando tenía 18 años, cuando decía uuhhh! Falta bien mucho para cumplir 21 y mira ahora 😅 ya estoy cumpliendo los 22... Another day, another chance and opportunity to progress closer to goals. The art of weight lifting is pretty similiar in terms of overall process of the steps to reach a goal. Each time you add weight is like a new obstacle to overcome on your way to your main goal. A great way to meet a long term goal is to make sure you create small goals along the way. It will keep you engaged and keep satisfaction rolling in. From the feeling of accomplishing a goal no matter how small it is. A recent event got me thinking about what I really want to accomplish. I took a chance on myself that didn't go as planned at all. The important part about this is about my ability and confidence in myself to take chances and leaps. You will hear people talk about just taking that chance, that leap, that one shot. It's hard to understand until you do It. Which is exactly what I experienced. Granted the shot I took didn't work out.  It has pushed my drive and desire for what will ultimately make my life meaningful and fulfilling far greater than I thought. I'm taking this setback and instead of dwelling on it. I'm taking the positives around me and concentrating on those instead. Putting  my energy and time into everything that will be a benefit in some way. Keeping that positive mind set!

Prep definitely kills the vibe for the gym once you get super deep and are sitting in single digit body fat. Glad that I am finally crushing my workouts and feeling good. January, 2014 - November, 2017. On the left, I still remember taking that picture and being absolutely disgusted with how I looked. Constantly being made fun of and underestimated because of my size. I was tired of it, and eager for change. I put my everything into my first year of training; obsessed was the perfect word to describe me. To the point that I would literally throw somewhat of a tantrum (sorry mom) every time I wasn't able to get a ride to the gym because I felt it would negatively impact my progress. I made sure that everything was to the T, if not, I'd be letting myself and my vision down. Fast forward to the end of that first year, I was able to come in right under 160. I was thrilled with the newbie gains, and couldn't wait for the upcoming years. The next few years were somewhat on and off. This obsession slowly started diminishing as my life began to be filled with more responsibilities. I still managed to make some stellar progress, but I know I could have done better. January, 2018 is now approaching, and I'm coming on 4 years of training. This last half of the year has not been the best in many aspects. It has been full of many slumps that I have allowed to take over me, and further me from what has always been one of my main goals - bettering myself. Times are changing, and it's a whole new mentality now. As funny as it sounds, I sense the second rebirth coming (few will know what this means). It's time to develop upon that 2014 mentality, and leave all the negativity behind. In short, this process is simply about accepting your faults, seeing what you can do to improve, and going after change. Change tends to scare a lot of people, but it's one of the best damn things you can do for yourself. It can happen whenever, you don't necessarily have to wait until the beginning of a new year, however times have matched up perfectly this time. Lots of new things to look forward to now, and I'm excited to be able to share this along with you guys.
