"Kendrick Lamar - Alright" 🔥
I really enjoy listening to this song from @kendricklamar. The beat is very funky and it works really well on this track. The song is also addressing some important stuff, such as police brutality and racism. However what makes this song so good in my opinion is that kdot's telling everyone to hang in there, cus "we gon be alright". He's telling everyone to stay strong. 💪
What are your thoughts on "Alright"? 🤔

ARTIST REVIEW- Kendrick Lamar.
Today I'm going to do a in depth review of my current favourite artist, Kendrick Lamar.
LYRICS- Kendrick has excellent lyricism and one of the best lyricist of new school rappers. Though he doesn't really have outstanding punchlines his rhymes, hooks and storytelling outdo that with tracks like Sing About Me I'm Dying Of Thirst, The Art Of Peer Pressure and DUCKWORTH. showing off his excellent storytelling.
FLOW- As well as lyricism Kendrick has a great flow and is extremely versatile with his flows with tracks like The Heart Part IV where the beat and flow changes multiple times but Kendrick still pulls it off as well as the latest Black Panther single, King's Dead and on DNA. his flow is crazy, as well as m.A.A.d city and Rigamortus.
PRODUCTION- One aspect of Kendrick's music that isn't talked about much is his production. His project is a 10/10, but it is very good and different production is used on his projects. On Section.80 tracks like A.D.H.D, Rigamortus and HiiiPower all have excellent production and each are different. A.D.H.D has a dreamy kind of vibe to it as Rigamortus is more classical and jazzy. On GKMC lots of the production are gangsta rap type, which suits the music well. On TPAB the production is jazzy and classical mixed with 90's hip hop and today's hip hop. On DAMN. Kendrick uses more modern hip hop production on tracks like DNA. and HUMBLE.
PROJECTS- Kendrick's discography is outstanding and doesn't really have a bad project, his mixtapes (C4, Kendrick Lamar EP, Overly Dedicated) are very solid and it's cool to hear his music before his rise to fame. His debut album, "Section.80" is in my top 3 projects from Kendrick and just has an amazing feel to it especially as his debut album and he was only 23 (I believe) when it was released. His second album and first major label album "good kid m.A.A.d city" details a young man growing up in Compton with skits and storytelling, which Kendrick executes near perfectly. This is way Kendrick took the throne and became the number 1 current hip hop artist, getting critical acclaim and major album sales.
