I want to say this once.
THIS IS NOT FUNNY.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
Do you see the picture on the right? Do you see that beautiful baby pig? Do you see the terrified and sad look in his/her eyes? I. SAW. HER! I saw her moments before forcefully paddled out of the truck, heard her screams from behind the gate, then as she watched her loved ones get shot in the head and boiled (probably still alive and breathing), she then had to endure the monstrous torture herself.
YOU, amongst all the other trolls need to wake the fuck up!! Veganism is just a fad. It is a fucking lifestyle. A lifestyle we live out, tirelessly and emotionally, so everyone else in this fucked up world can have a fucking future for their children, because you are too fucking selfish to do it yourself!
You should be ashamed to even act as though the meat you enjoy didn't have a fucking beating heart or a conscious brain. If you so choose to eat meat, fucking respect it. Respect the animal for who he/she was.. and that is a living, breathing - just like us- BEING. Instead, you make a mockery out of these innocent babies who had no voice, no one to help them, and no fucking choice to live or die. You should applaud yourself 👏👏👏
This goes to friends, family, acquaintances, bystanders, and trolls on social media.. I don't care who you are. You can say what you want, but I will never stop speaking up. If you don't like it- There is the unfollow button 👆🏼
Tea breaks a la Philippines ☕️ Or rather, coconut water break...but there's no coconut emoji!! 🙈 We went on a tour and this was a stop outside an 'animal park' where you could see Bohol's biggest python. Now don't get me wrong, I know there are some zoos and animal parks that do great work, but there are also those that are just money making schemes. Sadly, where we stopped on our tour was one of those. So instead of spending money on seeing unhappy, caged animals, we bought ourselves coconuts and enjoyed the view 😎 I really would strongly recommend that anyone travelling and wanting to see animals in their natural habitats, please please PLEASE research it first - don't just go for an experience that sounds cool for the sake of it when you may just be adding to those animals' misery. Look for a reputable place where the animals aren't interfered with and are left alone as much as possible. That's when you'll really get the full awesomeness of the experience 🐳🐆🐄🐊🐴 #philippines#animalrights#backpackerlife#backpacker#travelgram#travelpics#instatravel#girlslovetravel#girlswhotravel#wanderlust#adventure#travel#coconut

@Regrann from @cynical_coyote - Elvis immediately struck me the first time I saw him about a year ago. To most he would appear as any ordinary steer, but to me he is fascinating and unique. He is huge for one, reminiscent of some graceful long legged elephant. He has magnificent horns secondly, I'd never before seen a cow in the flesh with horns. Now I've seen a number of cattle, hiking through Arizona woodlands where beef cattle are kept on the outskirts in great number. But never did one have horns. I assumed that cattle had been bred to not grow horns in modern day, though this may be true for some breeds the truth is thousands of cattle yearly go through a dehorning process that either involves clipping or literal burning to prevent horn growth. Elvis had escaped such a procedure, along with the fate of most male Holstein calves. You see Elvis is a dairy breed, and a male. As males don't produce milk and they're not economically viable to raise to adulthood, his fate was sealed to become a veal. And so he languished awaiting eventual execution. Thankfully Elvis and several other calves were rescued and allowed to grow up at @woodstocksanctuary
And that's exactly what fascinates me about Elvis, statistically he shouldn't exist. According to the Index Mundi's report on calf slaughter 21,000,000 dairy calves are killed annually. Elvis so easily, if it were not for the kind soul that intervened, have become a statistic. Instead he survived and lives as a reminder of the cruelty institutionalized in the dairy industry. ▪️
Please support the amazing organization @woodstocksanctuary ▪️

"Plants feel pain too!" Their sacrifice is not in vain! LOL, but
all jokes aside even though this did make me laugh because of the absurdity of it. It does raise an important topic. I will not succumb to the stupid rhetoric by certain meat eaters that vegans or vegetarians are not any better, because plants are getting killed and suffer just like animals do. This is complete and utter bullshit. Plants cannot suffer like animals do and they do not experience pain like an animal does. No reputable study that I know of has ever shown that plants can feel pain. They lack the nervous system and brain necessary for this to happen. Some plants even rely on being eaten to spread their seeds. Let me ask a few questions to those who would still like to debate. Does a plant have eyes? Does it have ears or a nose? Can it taste? What about a heart? Does a plant have a heart with blood pumping through its veins? Do plants cry or show remorse? Does it scream or yell when it is in fear or pain?
The answer is a big NO to all these questions. On the other hand, ask these questions about animals and its a yes to these questions and that is the truth. Please stop denying it. We can feed the whole world with a plant based diet and do so without destroying the planet and causing so much suffering. THATHASTU! so be it... ✌

Do your research it takes a simple Google search to find out what make-up brands test on animals. Why choose to look beautiful at the expense of torturing these beautiful creatures? It's so easy! In the age of information there's no excuse besides being lazy and selfish. Time to get out of your bubble and think about the suffering you spare yourself the sight.
"The assumption that animals are without rights and the illusion that our treatment of them has no moral significance is a positively outrageous example of Western crudity and barbarity. Universal compassion is the only guarantee of morality."
