@petsmart @chewy Will not let dogs that look like a pit bull type dog into their daycare.
Any reputable dog daycare will evaluate / temperament test each animal for playgroups and care as an individual - not judge them only on their appearance and immediately deem them unfit for care or socialization.
This is unfair, mean, and completely unprofessional. It is also hypocritical of a company that claims to do right by companion animals.
I’d second guess letting your dog, no matter what it looks like, be cared for by these people. This speaks to a deeper corporate issue regarding animal advocacy and welfare.
I feel terrible for the thousands of genuinely nice animal advocates that @petsmart and @chewy employs that have so clearly been duped.
Shame on you @petsmart and @chewy

Hopefully F R E E range 👍🏻 If you don't keep chooks how do you make an ethical egg purchasing choice??? With all the misleading labelling & trickery it can be eggstremely difficult! Here's a guide by @choiceaustralia to help you decide 👉🏻 https://www.choice.com.au/food-and-drink/meat-fish-and-eggs/eggs/articles/what-free-range-eggs-meet-the-model-code
There's also an App called CluckAR to assist you making an informed decision🍳
"If nothing matters, there's nothing to save."
"We can't plead ignorance, only indifference."
"But compassion is a muscle that gets stronger with use, and the regular exercise of choosing kindness over cruelty would change us."
Good read about one of the most basic daily decisions and how it affects us and the world we live in. Even if one is already aware of most of the topics, it's still inspiring to join Jonathan Safran Foer on his journey through the farms and slaughterhouses. Not at all just for vegans and vegetarians, this book and it's diverse storytelling is for everyone who ever thought critical about their daily food.
