Mango Chutney... ohhh yes!! Mangoes are one of the few fruits that we use in Ki's Kitchen, for the main reason that it is a strong cancer fighter, as well as it alkalizes the body.
Mangoes are laden with Vitamin A and C, but they are high in natural sugars, so consume sparingly. It is for this reason we use limited amounts in our food prep.
This pic shows you all the aromatic healing herbs and spices that go into making our no-sugar-added healing mango chutney.
#tastethedifferencefeelthedifference ... right up there with Frank's Hot Sauce slogan !!! ;)
So into tumeric lattes at the moment and they are super easy to make. Half a tsp of cinnamon, tumeric, ginger and honey combined in a cup of almond or coconut mik and heated. Great anti-inflammatory hot drink for winter ☕

Yarrow leaves applied topically have been used for ages to help stop bleeding. Yarrows uses go beyond just bleeding though. The young leaves with purple tips are anodyne, helping to numb pain when applied topically. Young leaves are wonderful for tooth aches, helping both the pain and inflammation. Yarrow leaves can also be made into a tea and taken internally for bleeding anywhere in the body. It can decrease heavy menstrual flow and even stop bleeding ulcers and hemorrhoids. Yarrow flowers contain aromatic oils that are very medicinal. Yarrow flowers are anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and immune boosting. A hot tea of the flowers induces sweating and helps with fevers and infections. Take a handful of the flowers and put in a pot with boiling water. You should place a lid on the pot to keep the volatile oils from escaping and let it steep for at least 30 min. Drink several cups at the first sign of a fever and wrap yourself in blankets to help the sweating process. A cold infusion of the flowers is beneficial for urinary tract infections and gastric upset. -T. Easley
Have you read my latest post, (catch up, another one is on its way) Getting Hurt Saved My Life. Adding new to me foods like Beet Juice (pictured here) and Turmeric (when I make Golden Milk or Glow Water) to my diet on a regular basis got me off of the daily ibuprofen/acetaminophen that I was taking for my arthritis and knee pain. PS that ice cube is coconut milk, lime, and bone broth! What food(s) help you heal?
#sproutsmarket
The subtle yet refreshing water-filled flavors of the bok choy, cucumber, and apple, really backed up and brought out the amazing, one-of-a-kind flavor of the incredible cilantro. Getting cilantro into your body by including it in homemade, fresh dishes like in a salsa or as a healthy garnish, is always a good thing. However, to truly get as much of the spectacular health benefits of cilantro into your body as possible, juicing them is ideal because you can juice a larger amount of cilantro in one sitting than you could ever eat, while simultaneously making many of its beneficial qualities more bioavailable to your body. Cilantro helps the brain and memory stay healthy while aiding in the prevention of Alzheimer's via its suppression of cholinesterase. It also helps the body rid itself of heavy metals that accumulate over time and cause devastating neurodegenerative disorders. It also contains antioxidants, phytochemicals, and other antimicrobial oils and properties that aid in the prevention of cancers and other diseases. Use a slow juicer/cold press juicer to maximize the nutrient content of your juice. Click the link in bio to get your new life-changing Tribest slow juicer, blender, dehydrator and more today.

I know it's Friday, but all the more reason to crush some goals!! 👊🏻 Did my regularly scheduled agility workout earlier to work out some negative emotions. 👌🏻 Then when anthony got home, I was answering messages 💌 but struggling to focus, so he asked if I wanted to do a second workout with him.
Ya know in Disney movies when they randomly stop life to sing and dance, 💃🏻 and then immediately resume real life? Thanks to Shaun T, that's legit what we just did. 🤣
Now back to my inboxes! 💕
Ain't that the truth 🙏. Picked out a fun food diary to better understanding what my body responds well and poorly to. Hopefully I'll remember to take my supplements and drink enough agua now. I also love the section for setting a daily goal #letsgetit#goals
Cassava flour chips made with avocado oil 👏 So, I am not trying to convince anyone that chips are healthy. But sometimes you just want that crunch with some salsa/guac 😎 Buying pre-made products are always second choice from an optimal nutrition standpoint. Most packaged products contain some sort of vegetable oil (canola, safflower, corn, soybean). You would think that was a healthy oil, right? Made from plants, must be good 👊🏼 unfortunately not 😐 Vegetable oil for instance is a combination of ingredients processed at high heat, oxidizing and therefore becoming a highly inflammatory polyunsaturated fat. Not healthy. But it is cost affective and used almost across the board in prepackaged foods and in most restaurants as well. Focus on Olive oil, avocado oil and YES coconut oil! More digging into the cause of cardio vascular disease is being done every day. The main cause is plaque in the arteries...... caused by PUFA's (polyunsaturated fats). We now see that all saturated fats are not evil. In small amounts, (such as coconut oil) can be part of a very healthy diet. In the end, the typical commercial diet of eating out and consuming too many prepared/ prepackaged foods are making us sick. The closer to the real thing you can eat, the happier your body will ultimately be 💟
So many benefits we receive from raw, unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar. One tablespoon of ACV in a large glass of water before each meal is often recommended, or at least two tablespoons per day, taken at different times.
What do you use ACV for?
