5 Strengthening Exercise for Lower Back Pain
2. Lying Knee
Use this movement to stretch the paraspinal muscles and strengthen the abdominal muscles. Lie on your back with your legs extended straight out. Bend the right knee up and cross it over the left side of your body. Hold in a position that allows you to feel a gentle stretch through the back and buttocks muscles for 20 seconds. Tighten your core muscles and rotate back to center. Repeat three times on each side. 👍☺️
This messy smoothiebowl by our fav @odilejp pretty much sums up my life. 🙌 My brain stops working properly when things get too organized, 🤕 and thats why I run with a style of organized chaos instead! 😎

Y'all.....today was just one of those days where I was coming home from 3 shifts in a row....and hadn't slept well going into ANY of them. You know that feeling??? That 10-12 hour work day, run home...., eat dinner, sleep, repeat.....but you loose another hour every night because you just can't seem to relax to prepare for the next day?! Yup! That's exactly how my week has been. I came today with all of those racing thoughts and anxious feelings about the housework I've neglected for the past 3 days....all the laundry I need to do.....and the floors I need to clean.....and then I just stopped. I stopped my thoughts. I put on my PJ's and ran to my oil box. I pulled out my serenity and opened it up. Immediate tension release. I just popped 2 drops on my hand and rubbed all over my pillow. I'm sitting here to share this amazingness with you guys before I doze off....but these natural oils are amazing. And I'm thankful for safe and effective natural solutions that kill the mind chatter and help calm my soul......no meds. Just pure, natural solutions. The best night time blend ever. Thankful for rest ❤️ add my oil group in my profile or message me if you'd like to learn more about essential oils #antiinflammatory#wellness#naturalnurse hearthealth #nursesrock#nurses#nurseproblems#studentnurse#futurenurse#registerednurse#nightnurse#cardiacnurse#floatnurse#instanurse#nursesofinstagram#nurses#nursing#nurseblogger#rn#scrubs#fitnurse#nursesdoitbetter#scrublife#nurse#lifesaver#scrub#love disclaimer

☯️ Meditation tonight is at 8pm. I had an early dinner today - roughly about 5pm.
*TIP: Try not to eat AT LEAST an hour and a half before meditating.
Anywho, I love experimenting with Quinoa. This one's got radish, carrots and raisins. I seasoned with spices like salt, pepper, coriander, cardemom, smoked paprika, tumeric, mustard seed. And I added fresh herbs like cilantro and oregano straight from the garden. The chives were from the garden as well. It was delicious! One more day and that avocado would have not been nice to eat lol. Also, I'm becoming obsessed with olives!! I can't stop eating them for every meal! Yummm 😋
Cannabis has close to 500 active chemical compounds, 113 of which are cannabinoids (e.g., THC and CBD). A cannabinoid is one of those diverse chemical compounds that act on cannabinoid receptors in cells that alter neurotransmitter release in the brain. Cannabinoids imitate compounds our bodies naturally produce, called endocannabinoids, which help to maintain internal health and stability.⠀
When cannabis is consumed, cannabinoids bind to receptor sites throughout our brain (CB-1 and CB-2). Different cannabinoids have different effects depending on which receptors they bind to. Depending on a cannabis product’s cannabinoid profile, different types of relief are achievable.⠀
The most notable cannabinoid is the phytocannabinoid tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the primary psychoactive compound in cannabis (THC gets you high). Cannabidiol (CBD) is another major constituent of the plant. CBD is probably the most abundant cannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. CBD does not appear to have any intoxicating effects (CBD doesn’t get you high) such as those caused by THC in cannabis (CBD actually lessens the psychoactive effects of THC) but may have effects on anxiety and an antipsychotic effect.⠀
THC and CBD are two of the most important and common cannabinoids – but they are vastly different. Check out this amazing infographic from Visual Capitalists that compares the differences between THC and CBD.⠀

This bowl of goodness right here was my saving grace for dinner the other night. I was feeling puffy and bloated from all my traveling, jet lag and change in time zones - it was all catching up to me and I wasn't sure how to cure it! Thank goodness for my lovely friends from @2036lbbeach recommending their homemade organic fish broth, and it is now my go to remedy!! All I added was some spinach and broccolini as I heated up the broth, and then enjoyed every last bit of the contents. I literally licked the bowl clean!
I highly recommend anyone who is suffering from any inflammation, or is looking for a cleanse / detox, without starving yourself, to grab some of these affordable, delicious and super nutritious broths from Pete and Raph! You will not regret it!!! ______________________________
