"Together let us desire, conceive, and create the new structure of the future, which will embrace architecture and sculpture and painting in one unity..." - #Walter Gropious #QuoteoftheDay#Architecture
Day entry 17, Art. The art of a image, icon, actress, fashion. Coming in fashionable late ( excuse as I was tired last night 😄😄). This picture is normally hanging in our upstairs bathroom but it is being decorated at the moment. I really love this picture and Audrey Hepburn. 💗💗
The masquerade mask either side were a bargain a pound each from Accessorize, I love to grab a bargain. At Christmas I went to a masquerade party at Brighton Igloos with my best friends. My mask did not arrive in time so I got happy with my glue gun. I found a batman happy meal mask and stuck broken jewellery onto. I will post it soon to give you all a laugh. I thought it looked ok but last minute all the jewellery came unstuck. However the batman mask became the prop of night. People wanted to try it on and have photos with it. 🤣🤣
So the moral of the story is if things don't go to plan maybe there is a hidden reason, ride it out enjoy the new journey. 😄😄 So think we're all massive fans of art in all shapes and form. Let's keep expressing ourselves. Hope you all have a great day. 😚😚
Morning! ✨☀️ Have you entered our giveaway? It closes at 7pm tonight. You could win one of our digit prints shown here. You can choose the number 🙌🏻 Details on Stories 👍🏻I’m running late for an appointment (story of my life🙄) but I had to quickly style a shot with that sun streaming in! Sound like a right idiot! Have a lovely day ❤️ (shall I take that paper decoration down?!)

I’m a big fan of up cycling furniture I started buying second hand furniture when I moved back from Canada to my parents (much to their surprise) so that I could afford to do an MBA full time. I used to go to Auction Houses and blind bid on items then take them back to my Dads Garage and strip/wax/paint them. I still have all the pieces I bought (often by a fiver) and they get better with age. This chest of drawers is one of these items.
I still love a project but these days it tends to be decorating or in this case trying my hand at DIY panelling.
This year I want to learn to tile a room, I’ve dabbled a bit, but I really want to change the tiles in my kitchen and redo our main bathroom but it will have to wait as from Monday next week I’m commuting to Scotland (a mere 5 hours each way) and will be away three days a week.
Why am I telling you this? Well I receive many many DMs asking if I can showcase products or can companies come on my blog and I will have a lot less time at home. So please, if I don’t respond try again, remind me and if you’ve DMd me and I’ve not responded while I’ve had flu, please can you retry.
And if you want a slot on my IG or blog, the sooner you let me know the better. The Blog is booked until Summer so an IG post is quicker.
Sorry for the long post, have a great Thursday peeps. Tap for sources. My gorgeous lightbox is from @mintandmay
Throwing back this Thursday to warmer climes of last summer when these beauties ‘popped’ up at the end of the season after waiting patiently to see if anything would happen. And what a treat they were...lovely vibrant colour and the bees loved them too. As well as #throwbackthursday this will do for day 18 of #myhousethismonth *outdoors* because my garden right now is unkempt lawn, empty pots and not much else. (How windy was it last night?!) Plan is to get potting, string up some lights, get some new patio furniture and create a mini veg patch since we had to give up our allotment when we moved 😥 and get the grass in order (might delegate that one 😀). Can’t wait for the sunshine so we can enjoy being outdoors again ☀️
The addition of a breakfast bar and built-in seating to the Georgian Manor kitchen adds an element of comfort while offering the client and their family a space to socialise over breakfast or with drinks in the evening. We love how tranquil it looks in this shot.
