Midsummer Night's Dream Tea :: delicious hot or iced, this herbal tea blend is perfect for those warm summer nights when the air outside feels too alive + too inviting to stay in. Hibiscus + Rose cool an overheated, overstimulated heart, Lemon Balm calms the nervous system, and Ginger will stimulate movement and integration through your body.
I've found this tea helpful in those times when I feel "sharp," protective, reactive. When my need to defend myself goes into overdrive, Rose reminds me sometimes those thorns are necessary, and sometimes they were once, but don't serve anymore. 🌸 all photos by @phb_blog

Prescription blanks were provided to physicians, who had to keep a record of all prescriptions issued. Over the course of prohibition, five different styles of prescription forms were used. The two pictured here were the earliest (the first from 1920 to late 1922, the second through early 1924). Both examples are prescriptions for "spiritus frumenti," the Latin apothecary term for whiskey. Other apothecary symbols are used; for example, zxvi equals 1 pint. The first was issued for "LaGrippe," or the flu.

✨🌿NEW NURSERY LOCATION✨🌿we are so happy to announce, that we have recently bought a house across the street from our farm! Located right in between Ann Arbor and dexter on joy rd. We hope this will become a space where people can leave the city and come here to recharge. This place has been a dream of ours for years and a dream of Bens since he was kid playing at his families land across the street. This house was built in 1890, includes 6 acres, multiple out buildings a pole barn and a timber frame barn with a silo. This will be our new retail, herb shop, herb classes, consultation space and plant nursery. We will have operating hours along with a stocked apothecary for you to buy your goodies! We are hoping to have a CSH (community supported herbalism) where people can buy in and in return get a monthly herbal care package. We are so excited for our dreams to be coming true! Exact Location to be announced within a month with classes as well!
One of my most beloved herbal allies and the star of our signature botanical infusion! Symphytum officinale: Comfrey.
This amazing plant grows wild and does well if you plant it in your garden, too. (We cultivate our own right here!) It's been used for thousands of years to heal wounds and was also known as knitbone for obvious reasons. When I was in school, my herbology teacher described a case study in which comfrey leaf was applied as a poultice to a deep wound and effectively healed the top layer of skin *too* quickly and caused an infection below. This blew my mind, it seemed like magic but was actually due to Comfrey's high allantoin content. (A cell proliferant extrordinaire, so good that many mass produced creams on the market contain a chemical knock off of it). We were taught to use the leaf along with the root and to combine it with plantain leaf (which is a specific for deeper wounds and punctures). Neat. (And yes, we use plantain in our infusion too. I drink a strong comfrey (along with nettle and chaga) tea every day to strengthen and nourish the system.
Comfrey is associated with saturn, the element water and Hecate. Comfrey is employed in protection, luck and love spells. Hang a sachet of dried leaf in your car, pack it in your suitcase or tuck a leaf into your wallet with your money to ensure these things return safely to you.
On a side note, if you are into gardening, a tea made from comfrey leaf is an amazing fertilizer for your plants.
