Day 1 of 7 Nature Photograph Challenge - A cute little Western Screech owl who was just sitting there watching us, watch him.
I was nominated by @_brittsss to post one nature photo every day for 7 days. Photos don't have to be recent but during your lifetime. I am going to nominate @daniellenay11 (photography page @dephotography11) do this challenge! I'm sure she will have no problem doing this, as she is a great photographer. ;) ♡
Sonoran Sidewinder (Crotalus cerastes cercobombus) Maricopa County, Az. This one was from the very eastern portion of their range. I've spent alot of time this year in this area, and it seems like these guys do well in a small pocket. I have not seen one more than three miles away from where this one was found.
Mexican Gartersnake (Thamnophis eques megalops) Santa Cruz County, Arizona. Easily one of my favorite sightings of the year. About seven years ago I came across one while exploring in Gila county. Since then these snakes have been elevated to protected in Arizona. Due to habitat loss, and invasive species such as bull frogs and crayfish.
Cool little desert kingsnake found last weekend with the boys. Was surprised i had never seen one of these guys before, but im happy he showed himself. Found on a extremely busy road, so im not sure if lil dude would have lasted much longer!
