#fitness#journey#selfie#poser#motivation#arms are shaping #slowly just need to chisel off some more fat! #booty growing 🍑#stomach getting flatter it's not the flattest I want it but I'm proud with how it looks! I haven't ever been proud with my stomach so to get to this is a big stage for me! #healthyeating would be so much easier if I weren't #diabetic ! #diabetes & the #gym is so hard it really tests you! Your random blood glucose drops & having to eat something at stupid times of the night & a hell of a lot more bumps but it is all part of the #fun & #challenges I face! It only makes you stronger as a person! I also have a fantastic PT
I’ve recently been getting compliments from friends about muscles I’m gaining, good bake muscles and my arms are more toned. I feel like it’s total bull as I look at myself every day in the mirror and just see the jiggles that still haven’t gone. But I also know girls are not known to give out compliments to one an other so I will take that! Feeling stronger at the moment with the gym. Just harder to get my eating under control with wanting everything in sight!
Tracking progress! .
💥This is a BIG one! I think the fitness and media industries have ruined how people think to track progress. They portray quick fixes and insane body types or success stories making you feel awful when you don’t live up to that. .
👆🏻First, know the scale is your worst enemy! Throw it away or at least hide it deep in your closet forever. Stop stepping on the scale each day expecting to see a different results is only going to drive you crazy. Weight loss doesn’t happen on a linear pattern. There will be ups, downs and plateaus. The quicker you realize that the better. .
✌🏻Second, the moment you compare yourself to others you will instantly have doubts about your progress. When people have doubts they tend to throw in the towel way too early. .
🐵Here is how I want you to think about progress: .
👕Clothing: Find a couple pieces of clothing try them on, know how they fit and take pic in them. This is a great reference point you can come back to and see if progress has been made. .
💪🏻Training Program: Once you get your nutrition organized concentrate on making progress on your training program. It is going to take your mind off the number on the scale and make your transformation a LOT more enjoyable. .
🤗How you feel: A training program should make you feel more energetic, sleep better and have increased self esteem. Maybe keep a little journal about how you feel on a daily basis. If your journal is negative on a certain day think about what happened. Did you get awful sleep, overtrain or have 12 donuts? Whatever that may be now you have a reference point on how to make progress.
You can't forget to 💥💥RAGE💥💥 even on leg day! Haven't been able to hit 285x3 for three months because of my knees. But with RAGE it put my mind to muscle connection to the max and didn't even feel my knees during the workout! 315 again is just around the corner.
