❤️ Took a long walk tonight- giving myself time and space to process some end of era, so to speak, changes happening in my life right now. Saw these beauties lit by the setting sun and just thought they were perfect. Change is inevitable and not "bad" and there is much beauty to be found in it, but it's important to grieve if needed so one can move forward. Also savoring the end of a wonderful weekend! I hope yours was lovely too! 😊❤️ #nofilterneeded#daisies

We are happy to announce the new date of Hidden Forms on view at One Art Space Gallery from June 28 to July 15, 2017. An opening reception will be held this coming Wednesday, June 28 from 6:00 to 9:00PM.
Curated by Naera Kim, Hidden Forms highlights Michele Telari’s abstract and atmospheric renderings of the multiple narratives inherent in the cityscape. Whether his tight hyperrealistic paintings that explore cavernous streets of New York or his dripping watercolors that depict an urban environment drenched by rain, Telari portrays the elegant essence of the city. His work offers a dual view of New York–at once, the highly energetic city that never sleeps and a more somber, muted metropolis. In his watercolors such as Water Signs, his painterly hand drifts into abstraction as Manhattan’s monumental landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge and the Chrysler Building fade and transform into ethereal lines and monochromatic colors.

Something a little different - an earlier work of mine from my archives "The Second Communion" mixed media on ply. Not much new creating going on as I have a SORE tooth issue. Managed to get bumped up the waiting list to tomorrow - bring it on! 😬🤒
"Heaven and Earth", digital print on archival paper, 54 X 36 inches, 2016, by Tanya Mehta.
Despite the various processes and intricacies involved there is yet a very palpable energy that is not lost along the way and shimmers with climactic possibility. En collage, Mehta compiles and digitally paints on layer upon layer of photographs (whether that number be fifty or five hundred): some of whose subjects and figures that have haunted forgotten vintage frames resurface now to present unforgettable affinities between then and now, between the story and its telling, between here and gone. Her show "The Unity of Opposites" weaves together animated lightboxes, lenticular and fine art prints and poetry, and will be on view till July 29th at Gallery Sumukha in Bangalore.
