Made myself a jersey knit infinity scarf today with my custom @spoonflower fabric from my Map Series painting “The Vulnerability Path” ✨ I felt really vulnerable starting to sew again but it’s starting to come back to me and I’m excited to see what 2018 brings! ✨❤️✨
Aren’t Fridays the best?! It’s a day to tie up loose ends from the week’s efforts and embarking on a much deserved break with friends and family. 👯♀️I’m grateful to create each day but even I need a break sometimes to do something else!! Here I’m contemplating placement of a bird I drew for this piece. Hoping I pick the perfect spot for him! Enjoy your weekend!!

You are what you see around you.
Wherever You look, you see yourself:
In the salt that carries the weight of the water
In the light that blinds the sailors
when it hits just right -
A pain so beautiful and delicious it's forgotten
as a burden , it's remembered
as a gift
In other people-
You are everyone, everywhere.
Treading behind counters
Drowning in early evening sheets
And sipping the ocean in through your teeth.

It's so difficult to capture the super high gloss of this resin artwork on Perspex that I completed a few weeks back but here is an attempt at showing you how deliciously lickable this surface is! Photos of this one hanging to follow...
I've done a bit of a U turn with this particular piece. Her spirit animal is still with her though, just underneath some layers of paint, or in a more abstract sense... Underneath layers of reality like all of our spirit guides. They cannot be seen but they can be felt.👼
There's more to see on my website! 🦄 Go ahead and follow the link in my bio ❤️
Highly concentrated and I‘m watching him and would love to know what he is thinking while playing with these colours.
This will be an unsolvable #mystery one of many life has in store for us.
Living the moment is wonderful and I put the phone away after this picture and my hands looked similar. Children can teach us so so much if we are open and just let go of adult thinking. Believe me, it’s fun to feel these slimy colours between your fingers!
