cut the old you. "Self-Portrait at the Salon"
Oil on canvas
8 x 10in.
I've been caved for a few days in my room which made me do things that I wouldn't normally do. It's crazy how I would dig up some of the secrets that even I didn't know to myself. I've been doing crazy experiments around myself. I am trying new things. I am revamping on my identity. I am struggling, but I am fighting. I am cutting my old self because I believe that the old me is no longer in existence who is overused and consumed. Here's to the new chapter of me
The South Block WASPS, got promoted. After 5 years on the waiting list for the artist studio at last the one which has day light, ventilation and a separate storage! Little space but my work is in bloom
Back to tiny wee studio for a month, day light but no ventilation. No space to paint. Back to taking photos and making small prints from my desk space. Difficult time but a creative one.
The awesome gigantic studio we had for a year at the Briggait WASPS Studios. Extremely important part in my painting career, excellent conditions to work on a bigger scale
