“I love my hair because it’s a reflection of my soul. It’s dense, it’s kinky, it’s soft, it’s textured, it’s difficult, it’s easy and it’s fun. That’s why I love my hair.”

I’m excited to announce that I’m putting together a tarot deck and book of meanings (name: Beauty By Tarot) with images containing my own photography as well as showcasing the talents & creations of the DMV models, fashion designers, hair stylists, props & cosplay makers, etc. I’m hoping the deck and book of meanings (which will contain a full page dedicated to your picture) will gain some notability in local spiritual shops as well as online. All contributors will be credited.
I will be doing a kickstarter mid Summer 2018 in order to get funding for the cost of printing. I plan on having the deck mailed December 2018. From now till then I will be selling prints, bags and other “rewards” with images that will be in the deck in order to gain funding for the costs to make the images. These costs include makeup, props, clothing etc. which will most likely come out of my own pocket unless someone wishes to donate their services
This is a long-term project as there are 78 cards in a tarot deck. Right now I am focusing on in studio shoots and winter shoots. Please let me know if you would like to contribute!
WINNERS ANNOUNCED! Thank you everyone that entered and helped spread the word! It was too difficult just drawing two winners, so I decided to give away four hand-signed & hand-embellished prints! Congrats to @unspokendesiree, @nogreywalls, @jaerae_art, and @sararinaldiexpressivearts. This print is NOW available online, check the link in my bio!
Also added some LARGE sized prints! Link in bio.
I had some large prints before but they didn’t roll up so the shipping 📦cost was way to much to offer online. These digital prints are made from thick 9 mil semi gloss paper and can ship in a tube! ... So I’m happy to offer them to everyone now. Please DM me for International shipping 🤘🏽👍🏽 #focuswithyourthirdeye#3rdi
Today is Day 14 of #21daysinmyartworld and the topic is SOLD. This original artwork, titled “Downpour” was sold to a grieving man who felt the title to be very appropriate. Sometimes life can feel like a downpour...
Tomorrow at G7! Join us from 7-9 p.m., for a Meet & Greet with a few of our local artists! Find out what fuels & inspires these artists to create! Ask questions and enjoy light bites & libations while you mingle!!!
We’re half way into the month of January and I declare a do over! I’d like to consider January as a first month, free trial run for 2018. I don’t know about you but at the end of 2017, I had hoped to hit the ground running with the new year. I was really excited about it being my first year doing art full time and even created a list of new habits I had wanted to practice as well as projects I wanted to create. Well, as with trying new things, doubts and uncertainty got the better of me and I became stagnant. I can tell you that at this point, I can easily say to myself, “Well, you failed!” And to be honest, that self-doubt in me wants to because it’s all a little scary, this small business thing. It’s like knowing where you want to be but with a do-it-yourself road map. However, I’ve decided to give myself a pass and declare this do over because there are sure a lot of things I want to create and do this year! I can’t wait to see how it’ll all unfold. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What new thing are you trying this year? Has it been as you hoped?
