Sometimes I dig up an older painting from dust of my studio storage and I'm amazed at how much my style changed but also at how much I still enjoy what I painted back then. This particular scene is from a 3 day hike I did on the border of Nepal and India, starting from Darjeeling. These two sisters were warming up while their mom was fixing breakfast for us, in the freezing morning of Himalayan region. I'll never forget the warm hearted honest attitude of the mountain village people.
Art is alive, it's probably one of the best things you can buy for money (besides land) considering how long it lasts and how it can make you feel, your kids, your grand kids, your gran gran... you get it 😂 this one is not for sale though, it's in my family's private collection, to be passed on future little Kasparecs 👫❤️
Love that portrait of #KristenStewart 😍
