My paintings feel like extensions of me. It is hard to let them go. Sometimes, I purposefully set the prices of my paintings high just because I don't want to part with them.
I've learned a lot lately about the role attachment has played in my life - from losing my items in a fire, to losing my mum, to losing other things I've loved.
Cherishing and letting go can co-exist. I feel called to practice non-attachment more and have thus decided to offer a massive sale on my paintings.
If you would like to take part in my journey, just use the coupon "Letgo" on my store website (the link is in bio). The coupon will be valid through Saturday.
Holding a sale through the weekend to show you all my love!! Thank you to all the new followers who want to stick around, and for everyone who has supported me here on Instagram (be it for a few days or a few months!) I wouldn't be here without you 🙏💜😘
I'm so excited to share this new piece, "Grannie's Sage" that's headed to @michelleboyd 's casa! I've been visualizing a new series inspired by plants for the past few weeks/months and somehow it came out in this work! Michelle was awesome and gave me a lot of creative liberty but I kept going back to her childhood memory of the sage in her grandmother's yard. I've been trying to imagine how to abstract more figurative elements, (especially with my recent obsession of 🌿🌱🌵) into a successful composition that also feels light and airy! A new series of paintings similar to this one is in the works!! Totally different, what do you think?
