Osanbashi Pier, The main international passenger pier at the port of Yokohama.
The Pier was reconstructed to meet Modern demands between 1988 and 2002 , with the design by Alejandro Zahra-Polo and Farshid Moussavi, under a major international design competition.
The new Pier can now accommodate up to four 30,000 ton class ships or two 70,000 ton class ships at the same time.
Another attraction is the extensive , gently curving observation deck with planted grass areas , open to the public on the rooftop.
With over 690,000 pieces the National Palace Museum is the premier collection of Chinese art, culture, artifacts, and furniture anywhere in the world. Originally founded in Beijing's Forbidden City it has since been moved to the capital of Taiwan.
