Our body work is much more complicated than you think!
Macronutrients: Each of the macronutrients has a different thermogenic effect. Therefore, your body breaks down proteins, carbohydrates and fats at different rates and absorbs them differently. So your your body is smart enough to work differently with different kinds of food. Processed food will digest faster and stored, it takes less energy from the body compare to whole natural food. For example: if your diet plan asks you to take 100gr of fats and you will get it from trans fats(fast food etc) don't hope for positive result! The same thing with carbs: you can eat 500cal from candies or from oetmeal and fruits, cadies will be stored by insuline spike, but oats+fruits will digest slow and provide energy!
It means that even if you eat 1500cal a day getting it from low quality products it will not bring the result of lean muscular and well shaped body! At the same time you can afford 2500cal a day from healthy high quality food and enjoy your pack abs and lean, nicely shaped legs! 💪
