Another glimpse at @noise_and_color that I had the pleasure of shooting this summer. Featured here is @keithjardine205 as the Pathfinder. Though I never shared any screen time or days on set with him, the @cinestone team was so excited to get the chance to work with him and @cavemancoffeeco and I can’t wait to see his work in the film. It’s amazing to see an actor who has been so successful in other realms (in this case @ufc) dedicate so much to another career and skill. Inspiring to say the least!
Today was my first audition in nearly a Year! When I knew I would be going on hiatus I didn't set a time frame as to when I would return to acting.
I was already working for most of my pregnancy and I can tell you I was TIRED. I was beyond ready to relax and put all my focus on my pregnancy. Well, fast forward to about 3 months Postpartum, I decided that I wanted to return to acting. Yes, I was exhausted and still grasping my life as a new mother. But, that passion I always had for my craft was ignited again or should I say never left.
So, with the support of my Love & Family and insightful meeting with my manager I decided that I would take it slowly, but most importantly that I would do it!
Whoever knows me, knows that acting/performing has always played a big role in my life and this has been the longest I have gone without it. There were many moments of "How will I do it all? I had twins?!! I'm a mother. Omg I'm a mother!!". This was once a big concern for me. Just how would I balance Acting with Motherhood? Both require so much time and attention and I don't want to have one without the other.
Now, here's the funny thing about fear: Once you cross that threshold and are Living, Experiencing what you feared, you then realize it all has happened TO You FOR you and there's really nothing to fear. In fact, it's the most liberating thing there is.
So, today running on NO SLEEP and many sobs later I said YES. Yes to being Fearless and Yes to Living my Highest Truth. #trustinyourjourney 💙
