PIEROGI PLATTER | visited the Schützenhaus in Heidelberg today for these beauties. Polish dumplings filled with meats, potatoes, sauerkraut, and mushrooms! We chose to have them with a mushroom cream sauce which paired perfectly! The meats are all from sustainable sources and hunted by the owners of the restaurant themselves. It was delish and very filling, though we prefer the pierogi to be pan fried instead like we had at the pierogibar in Düsseldorf last week!

Hey girls! I've been a little MIA lately with posting but I've kept up with my daily bootycalls and most meals have been lcg. I've been home in Guatemala 🇬🇹 for my sister's bridal showers and bachelorette and it's been nonstop social events. I've loved catching up with friends and family and am making a conscious effort to take care of me too. I feel that when life gets hectic its so easy to just put yourself on the backburner. That my friends is "no bueno". When you give so much of yourself on a daily basis it's really important to set time for yourself to replenish. Gotta improvise healthy meals even when I am away from home! Eating food that makes me feel energized and light will always be a priority for me because I rather not feel like I'm weighed down with processed unhealthy foods (yes, even some vegan foods can be highly processed). I always bring fresh fruits and vegetables with me wherever I go because they are so easy to turn into a meal even without any kitchen appliances. I am on a mini vacation with my family staying in Sea Isle City so for breakfast I ran to wawa, got some everything bagels and a coffee to go with the avocado and cantaloupe I packed. So tasty and so filling :-) knocked out a HIIT pyramid workout on the beach early this morning with my cuzzzzz 😅 @grazygraz13
