#happynewyear2018 in the japanese way, visiting temple the first thing in the morning. Was fortunate enough to be invited by Hanaoka san to come along for the temple visit who explained about various aspects of this tradition - Shinto vs Buddhism, throwing 5 yen vs 1 yen vs 100 yen, concept of donation in japanese temples. And he mentioned stories from japanese history and asked questions about Indian history and mythology, keenly interested in similarities and differences between the two cultures. A must-do experience if you are in japan on new year. #meijijingushrine#awesomejapan#go .tokyo

I collected short videos of Christmas lights traveling all around Tokyo in this December, and put those into this one video. Although Japan is a non-Christian country, Christmas time is one of the biggest seasonal event that everyone loves. Japanese unique atmosphere of Christmas might be interesting for others in all over the world that it is not really for families, but especially for lovers. The all around city of Tokyo is filled with a lot of beautiful lights with different colorful colors. I hope people watched this video get impressed in some ways, and know the “real” of Japan. Have a wonderful holiday everyone!
While waiting for Vlad and Elise, I wanna tell you how amazing is Japan. Here is everything about comfort. I just got off from my plane, and decided to take a shower. Right here in the airport, you can find capsule hotels. They are so clean SOO CLEAN and cozy. It’s also very cheap. Taking shower costs 13$ so far. Idk how much is the capsule, but you may rent it for an hour or more. I saw these hotels long time ago on some pictures, but I even didn’t expect how comfy they are. Guys if you travel alone or wait like me for 8 hr somebody in airports in Japan, this is your place to go #narita#japan#awesomejapan#d17japan
