#backontrack this week has actually been so great! I love routine and control so eating like this helps me to have that, and stop me from making such crap choices. At least Mon - Fri! 🤓
My attitudes towards tracking have changed a lot over the last 12-18 months:
🚫 I don’t punish myself if I go a few grams over a certain macro - I ain’t got time for that stress
❗️I can make sure I’m getting my protein quota in, everything else comes second
💯 I eat fruit again! During prep I saw fruit as a pile of carbs 🙄 now it’s a great source of micronutrients, (vitamins), fibre and general colour in ma lyf!
❓I usually only track Mon-Fri and then make sensible choices over the weekends. No binging insight (ok, there’s a few boozy nights and hangovers 😏) but I can control my non-tracked days better now
A usual midweek day in the life of me...
BFAST: chia seed overnight shake
LUNCH: chicken and avocado salad with light mayo
Pre WO: 2 fry fried eggs with a thin bagel and strawberries
Post WO: protein shake
DINNER: source of protein (salmon, pork, chicken) and lots of green veg
DESSERT: pineapple before bed for good sleep and digestion
1421 cals - 132P 109C 51F
Keeping my carbs and cals lower during the week creates more of a deficit for room at the weekends if I need it. If I’m not prepping or dieting or anything in particular I won’t take calories so low that I’m hungry or suffering but this amount keeps me happy during the week 🙃
Y’all, I haven’t been home since Monday before work and it’s been a hectic week in all aspects. I had a little bit of a shut down time and stewed in my anger. Today I saw my dietitian and, not that things were way off track, but, I needed a little recovery kickstart. So, we made a little grocery list after brainstorming meals. I am making tacos tonight, which may not seem huge since I make it no secret that I love Mexican food, but, I’m using ground beef and hard shells which is a very rare and scary thing for me. I also have other things in here that scare me but I’m excited to cook! I also treated myself to peppermint mocha coffee creamer since the holidays are over that shit was 75% off 👌🏼 I got have a lot of produce to make some fresh ass pico de gallo. This made me a lot happier than I ever thought it could/would. •
Yesterday was a real start in getting back on track with a work out regimen. I mean I’ve been doing stuff here and there but I have not been consistent and we all know consistency is key. #workout#backontrack#fitness#fitspo#weightloss
Well we did it! Diva placed in her first inter 11. It’s three years since she competed and won the 7 year old championships in Falsterbo! She has been through it all since then and it was literally a last minute decision to compete her as she has not worked over the new year but hey ... you have to start somewhere.. i totally blew the first piaffe as i second guessed myself .. but she stayed with me from start to finish and tried her butt off despite her mum being too Cautious.. one judge had her on over 71%..Ended up nearly 69%.. but wasn’t after anything else but a run and a feeling .. and she gave them both with her big heart!!! Proud of u baby D! Thanks to whole outstanding stables team for all they have done for me these last days .. a special thanks to my mega @jockehag for his amazing work with Diva and hubs @patrikkittel for the eyes and Care! #equestrian#dressage#trot#halfpass#instahorse#horsesofinstagram#esstockholm#backontrack#prestigesaddle#juulsjackets#kempkensreitstiefel#xtremehorsemakeover @juulsjackets @prestigesaddles @saddlemeengelke @backontracksweden @esstockholm @xtremehorsemakeover @reitstiefelkempkens
Game back on!! One little mishap with my sprayer while low lighting (is that the correct term?!) the floor with the black stain led to me rebrushing the entire floor to lighten and blend the blob. Then, the wrong concrete sealer was ordered. 🤦♀️
Wrong should be righted tonight and I'm back on track to finishing this project this weekend!
In order to get things done be it weight loss, studying, obtaining your degree, achieving a business goal, etc., you need to have the force of will! You need to make up in your mind that no matter how hard it gets, you're going to continue to push. I know it sounds cliché but really that's all it is. I think the main reason why people fail at something is because they probably didn't really want it. Ask yourself, "How much pain am I willing to endure to get to where I want to be?" Nothing in life comes easy. Hard work and the achievement of any goal requires sacrifice. However, you'll feel 1000% better knowing that you pushed through every obstacle to obtain that which you most desired!
|HAPPY FRIDAY| 🎉
🏃🏽♂️#backontrack ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
2 new clients this week 👯 back in the routine 💪 and almost done my first week of Whole30 🍎 #boom
There seemed to be a lot of negativity floating around me this week and I've been working hard to keep it out. There was a moment yesterday where I just sat down and wondered why everyone in the world seemed to be upset. But these things can only affect your own emotions if you let them. Be your own light and keep those negative vibes away ☀️
