10K today! 5min 25sec pace. Feel great!
Really pushed to hit 10K this morning, two weeks before my goal of 10K at 5min pace. A little tender, but my physio will fix me up tomorrow.
Now the work starts to improve a steady pace. This week will see me focus on speed, and see if I can drop my time. Will run another 10K Sunday as a checkup.
Not unlike other goals in life, setting an objective and working through discomfort to attain it breeds success. Do it often enough and it becomes a habit.
Any suggestions from my fellow running community?

▪️setting your GOALS for the week ..you will go to bed READY, PREPARED, and you will wake up on Monday morning mentally and physically ready to CRUSH the week!

So happy to be back home trying to do my back to fitness and be vegan on the road for the last week or so has been an extreme challenge ! Couple that with a family get together and a mini break it's been seriously difficult to find the right things to eat. I am the queen of preparation I have to carry vegan options with me at all times cheese milk salads no yeast / gluten breads etc but m I often have to eat things I would never normally as it's the only vegan thing on the menu such as pasta or chips. Restaurants, takeaways, supermarkets, hotels and bars really need to up there game ! Or we need a way of easily carrying options that could last for a few days and be easy to whip up when you don't have a kitchen - now there's a challenge ! Busy week this week but we are back in the game time to plan this weeks food ! Makes me even more determined to get involved in launching a new restaurant / cafe brand.
