@Regrann from @bos.kitchen - In the mood for some easy baking this weekend? 🙋🏼 This choc chip oatmeal cake 🍫 is ready in 20 minutes ✔️and healthy enough to have for breakfast. I’ve added my fave egg substitute using @organicburst chia seeds. Simply mix 1 tbsp of chia seeds with 3 tbsp of water and leave for a minute or two to thicken. Chia seeds absorb lots of water and expand in your tummy, which keep you fuller for longer. Chocolate and oatmeal with a chai in the morning is my new fave thing 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3 cups porridge oats (gluten free)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
3/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
4 tbsp coconut sugar
1/4 cup dairy free choc chips
4 tbsp cacao powder
2 cups almond mylk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 @organicburst chia egg (see above) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Preheat oven to 180•c and grease or line a loaf tin. Make chia egg in a small dish, then mix with the almond mylk and vanilla extract. Add all dry ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir well. Add in the wet ingredients and mix to combine. Pour into prepared loaf tin, sprinkling a few extra choc chips on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until set. Serve with cashew cream or peanut butter. Les juro que es como desayunar un postre 🤤 ahora se me antojó así mi avena y me encantó, a parte se presta para agregar muchos ingredientes y variar 👌🏼
Comencé preparando 1 cucharada de linaza molida con 3 cucharadas de agua tibia (esto será nuestro sustituto de huevo y ayudará a que "pegue" la mezcla, también puedes utilizar chía) dejamos reposar unos 10 minutos. Mientras agregué 1 taza de hojuelas de avena en un bowl, canela en polvo, un plátano bien madurito machacado, 1/2 taza de leche vegetal (yo utilicé de coco) y mezclé muy bien. Piqué 1 manzana mediana, agregué un puñito de nueces picadas y un poco de frutos rojos que me quedaban y por último agregué la mezcla de la linaza y mezcle muy bien.
Vierte la mezcla en un molde para horno👍🏼.
Yo utilicé un hornito eléctrico y los deje 30 minutos a 200' y quedaron súper bien 🙌🏼 no necesitaron agregarles azúcar extra por el plátano y les juro que no si quiera sabe tanto a plátano 🤔. Solo puse encima unos frutos rojos y listo! 🤗
Baked apple cinnamon oatmeal with walnuts topped with stewed apple butter compote. Perfect for fall and so comforting! Overall this was pretty easy. I softened two diced apples in a pot, then put that in the baking glass, then in the same pot I quickly heated some oat milk with date and maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and allspice and added that, the oats, a flax egg, and some chopped walnuts and baked it. While that was cooking I heated two more diced apples on the stove, adding the same spices & sugars from before and some applesauce, smooshing some pieces up. Wait for everything to get thick and bubbly and serve!
There is something just so comforting about baked oatmeal on the weekend. Thanks to @athleticavocado for the Banana Latte Baked Oatmeal recipe! I used Kicking Horse coffee and topped it with hemp hearts and organic maple syrup!

Pumpkin baked oatmeal!! 🎃🙌🏻 Clearly all of Toronto is in that #pumpkinspice mood because 3 grocery stores were sold out of pumpkin purée 😂This recipe is a mix of oats, flaxseed, hemp hearts, peanut butter, pure puréed pumpkin, pumpkin spice and a bit of honey (winged the measurements). Topped with raw pumpkin seeds and baked for 40 minutes. So perfect for an on-the-go breakfast on these chilly fall mornings 🍁🍂 (I eat mine with plain Greek yogurt on top👌🏼)

It's a thing and it's the best.
Mix together 2 cups oats, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup shredded coconut, pinch of salt.
Add in wet ingredients; 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/2 cup coconut milk, 1/2 cup applesauce or smashed banana, handful of raspberries, 2 chia or flax eggs. Bake at 350F in a greased baking dish for 25-30 minutes. Top with fresh berries, maple syrup, sunflower seeds.

now that the temperature dropped I'm ready to break out my baked blueberry oatmeal recipe so I can stay snuggled under blankets eating this warm goodness while I go over listings 😌 • 1/4 cup rolled oats (I do @bobsredmill gluten free) • 1/4 cup water or almond milk • 1 whole egg or 2 servings of egg whites (depending on mood & what's in my fridge) • 1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein • blueberries then bake at 350 til its nice & golden brown, I honestly don't use a timer I just check til it's done... roughly 25-35 mins then I drizzle raw honey on top 🍯🐝#coldweatherrecipes

Since the days are getting colder I like my breakfast warm! And how exciting is this baked banana oatmeal?
I made it today and I highly recommend it👌
So I would leave the measurements up to yo (depending on how much you want to make) but you should have a creamy consistency with enough milk so that the oats have enough to soak up while in the oven🌿
Oat milk (or shall I say drink)
Tumeric (that explains the yellow colour)
Peanut butter (I used Pip's Peanut butter)
Baking powder (1tsp)
And voila your baked oatmeal has everything your heart desires!
When you mix all these ingredients, put the mixture in a tin lined up with a baking sheet and leave in the oven for 20-25 minutes🍌🍌🍌

Breakfast: pumpkin pie baked oatmeal made in my pressure cooker
Lunch: turkey meatballs in organic pasta sauce with veggie spaghetti
Snack: carrots and yogurt
Bowl o' breakfast this morning was peanut butter banana baked oatmeal (4sp), Greek yogurt (1sp), banana (0sp), and @maplevalleycooperative pure maple syrup (2sp). I am not the biggest fan of oatmeal but baked oatmeal is like cake, which I love 😜 Here is the recipe for peanut butter banana baked oatmeal (yield 12 squares). This recipe is also gluten, dairy, and refined sugar free!
Ingredients: 1.5 c. rolled oats, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 2 overripe bananas (mashed), 1/4 c. fresh ground peanut butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1/4 c. pure maple syrup (I strongly suggest using pure), 1 egg, 3/4 c. unsweetened almond milk
Toppings: 1/4 c. fresh ground peanut butter
1️⃣Preheat the oven to 350 and greases a 9x9 pan.
2️⃣In a small bowl mix together oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
3️⃣ In a large bowl mix together mashed banana and fresh peanut butter.
4️⃣Add the vanilla and egg. Mix until well combined.
5️⃣Stir in the almond milk.
6️⃣Add the dry ingredients to the wet and mix throughly.
7️⃣Pour into baking pan and bake for 25 minutes or until edges have browned.
8️⃣Spread the remaining fresh peanut butter onto the baked oatmeal while the oatmeal is slight warm (like frosting).
