Got the giggles after falling on my butt so many times (and falling on my face once or twice for good measure)! 😂 A slightly fleeting moment of balance in this #gorakhasanapadmasana situation... Had to keep the #lotus pretty open, because drawing the feet and knees in tighter was an automatic topple! Great class @flexandflow this morning working on strength and stability in the back body and hips.

💟 Balancing my very busy weekend with biceps and shoulder presses on top of BOSU. With a fast and an effective upper body workout. Bicep curls to Shoulder presses but also working glutes - hamstrings - quads  and core ☮️ 1️⃣ Balancing on knees on top of BOSU 2️⃣ Keeping legs & feet off floor 3️⃣ Keeping elbows in towards rib cage and doing bicep curls 4️⃣ Engaging core so not to fall off 5️⃣ Add shoulder presses 6️⃣ Tag a buddy and see how long you can stay on top of the BOSU.... 1 min or more. 年内最後の体験会となる12月に、神奈川県を代表して「かいひんFRIENDSスラックライン体験会」がこのイベントにチャレンジすることになりました!

12月の体験会&グローバルシティバランスチャレンジは、いつものスラックラインエリアではなく、当日「フリマピクニック」が開催される西駐車場すぐ脇の松林に会場を設けます。

いずれも事前予約不要、グローバルシティバランスチャレンジに関しては参加費も無料です!

年齢やスラックライン経験の有無、国籍など問わずどなたでもお気軽にご参加いただけます。
チャレンジ成功者にはささやかな記念品も差し上げます。

当日は、毎月恒例の「辻堂ローカルマーケット」や、昨年も大人気だった「フリマピクニック」が公園内で開催されているので、見どころ満載で楽しめます!

This weekend's inspiration was this gorgeous #feetup  balance from @claudia__casanova. 💜 As cobbler pose is one of my favourite ways to sit (and makes a good space for a random cat), no suprise this also felt fab. Weird how perceptions about alignment are also challenged when upsidedown....judging just where my arm was more tricky than any other part of the pose!

🔸 take time to ground down through all four edges of the feet. This is important to help stop the balancing foot from flipping side to side
🔸transfer weight to one leg keeping that leg firm and strong
🔸either step back and enter the pose or straight from standing pivot at the hips lifting the opposite leg behind you
🔸keep lengthening the spine and reach through the finger tips out in front of you.
🔸engage your core to protect the spine, don't let your lower ribs flare hold them in and draw shoulder blade towards the back ribs. This will support you and keep the back nice and long and flat.
🔸keep the hips closing by turning the outer thigh in towards your centre and turning the toes down towards the mat
🔸Inhale to prepare and then Exhale bend that supporting knee and lower to your limit, bring the arms out to the side like a plane ✈ always trying to maintain that long flat extention of the spine
🔸keep pressing through that back heel
🔸then Inhale straighten the standing leg nice and strong and reach the arms out in front of you
🔸repeat both sides for 3 sets of 5-10 reps
🔸make sure you work BOTH sides of the body
