✨SUNDAY S T R E T C H ✨
Did you know that lateral flexion prepares the thoracic spine to open into extension? These gentle side-to-side stretches break up that "stickiness" we can often feel in our middle backs due to a myriad of reasons. This brings more oxygen into lungs🥇🔝more mobility into a less mobile region of the spine👍🏼and benefits the heart ❤️ Working the side bends into extension and then full circles, massaging and moving the spine in all directions, bringing breath and space. We ALL need this 🙌🏼✨
I couldn't help adding a little lateral leg abduction at the end 😁, but kept mostly to the focus on BREATH STRETCH OPEN & FLOW ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~❤️❤️❤️

Imagine a sash going from one shoulder to the opposite side hip. This group of muscles 💪 in both the front and back of the body, are your lateral slings. When it comes to supporting your body while on the pill or after you come off the pill it’s all about your liver. Your liver is responsible for getting hormones ready to be moved out of the body by your digestive system (aka in your poop). High levels (or really any) of synthetic estrogen (like what you find in the pill) require extra work by the liver so that your body can process them and get them out of the body. •

If you’re currently on the pill then I recommend the following:
-eating plenty of cruciferous vegetables (at least 1 cup per day)
-supporting digestion so that you have at least one bowel movement per day
-include high quality protein at every meal to provide essential amino acids for detox
-include healthy fats at every meal to support blood sugar balance
-hydrate! Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water daily
*I recommend completing a liver focused detox program with a practitioner 3-4 times per year

The best time to get pregnant

You're most likely to get pregnant if you have sex within a day or so of ovulation (when your ovaries are releasing an egg). This usually happens about 14 days after the first day of your last period.

An egg lives for about 12-24 hours after it's released. For you to get pregnant, a sperm must fertilise the egg within this time. Sperm can live for up to seven days inside your body.

Starting in the new year I will be running group classes as two levels (level 1 and 2) instead of three (beginners, Improvers, advanced). Level 1 is targeted towards beginners and less experienced improvers, whereas level 2 is for higher level Improvers and advanced. 
Bunching the classes together like this may mean that the difficulty of each class varies depending on who attends but it also means that I have regular classes available for all levels going forward.
