Because it’s winter, it’s easy, quick, and delicious. But mainly because I can sneak a good volume of veggies in my kids without the 😖 looks.
In sautée mode cook half diced onion, 2 minced garlic cloves. Brown 2 lbs ground turkey, add 2 shaved carrots, handfuls of spinach, 3 cups riced cauliflower, 3 tbsp Trader Joe’s seasoning, 1 tbsp Italian seasonings, 1 can white beans, 3-4 cups chicken broth, 2 bay leaves, salt and pepper.
Close lid, and then the pot to soup mode.
3 years ago vs today. Dulu waktu anak saya masih usia 2 tahunan kayanya udah berat mau gendong kemana - mana, padahal bukan anaknya yang berat, tapi badan saya yang keberatan 😅 dan sedikit - sedikit pusing kepala, sakit pinggang, dan yang paling parah sekalipun begitu masih hobi makan yang enak - enak dan nggak pernah olahraga, ya lengkap sudah lah ya jadi kolesterol meninggi , tekanan darah juga, bawaannya emosi 😀. Jadi kalau sekarang kadang suka terpikir males olahraga dan makan sehatnya, saya suka mengingatkan ke diri sendiri, apa mau jadi kaya dulu lagi? So many fad diets going around. If I’ve learned anything on this journey, it’s that I don’t have to starve myself or eliminate whole food groups (unless an allergy or food sensitivity) to lose or maintain weight.
I eat foods from all food groups. I follow a macro nutrition of sorts but don’t go crazy. I do 80% whole foods (think perimeter of the grocery store) and 20% “treats”. I eat donuts and pizza and have wine in moderation but I also eat meats, fruits, veggies, healthy fats, and whole grain carbs. .
It doesn’t have to be hard. It really is much easier than you think. And I still have balance in my life! 🤗
After I've completed my morning exercise and early-morning executive coaching sessions with clients, I make sure to fuel my body. A combo of protein and good fats ensure I'm full all morning and am ready to take on the day. ⠀

I am so kahdidhsn mad 😤 Ya know how I was supposed to see the other doctor in the clinic tomorrow? Well turns out that’s not happening because the one I usually see talked with her and then called me to schedule with her and scheduled me with my dietitian (which I hadn’t done). I’m kind of getting tired of playing this game. So, I’m just gonna call the other center that I’ve been trying to get into sooner and HOPE they’ll take me outpatient. 🙏🏼 in other news...it snowed a LOT last night and this morning (anything above 0” is a lot for me hahah) so I’m just laying low and going to visit my grandparents. Hope you’ve all had a better Wednesday than I’ve had so far 🙃
The number one question I get asked when someone finds out I’m vegan is “so like what do you eat?” And I always answer “a lot of the same things that you do!”. I still eat popcorn, chocolate, pasta, chips, salsa, and so many other yummy things! And guess what. It’s not all healthy either! So yes, I don’t eat any animal products, but I can still stuff my face with Oreos when I’m in the mood for some sweet stuff. Shocking, right? 😉 #growandbehappy
今天的天氣蠻溫暖的，覺得蠻適合吃胡麻麵的，今天就來試試看！完全沒有參考什麼食譜，只是把冰箱裡有的菜炒一炒，煎個蛋，再炒一下蒟蒻麵～料跟醬全部拌在一起就完成了！但我覺得還蠻好吃的，吃得心情很好☺️☺️ 感覺蒟蒻真的是減脂的好幫手！☺️它熱量跟碳水都低，可以加入你的飲食裡面添加飽足感～ 但是均衡飲食還是要有喔！不要就靠低卡路里的食物去劇烈的減肥～健身之路是沒有捷徑的🤓倒不如就享受美味又營養的食物，乖乖的動吃動吧！之後看看我還會用蒟蒻麵變出什麼創意料理吧！😚
I made sesame sauce shirataki noodles for dinner tonight 🍜 I didn’t follow any recipe; I simply just stir fried some veggies I found in the fridge, fried an egg omelette, stir fried the shirataki noodles, and then mixed everything together! But it tastes surprisingly good! Shirataki noodles are made out of konjac, which is very low in carbs and calories so it’s good to include in your diet to help you feel full! Of course, you still need to have a balanced diet and not JUST eat low calorie food to drastically reduce your calories intake and body fat! There is no short cut towards fitness, so enjoy real food and stay healthy and active! 👊👊👊
Snow day called for some stacked pancakes☺️ My fav!!! I wish I had time to make pancakes every morning! I added some chocolate chips to my batter made with @bobsredmill 's GF pancake mix! Then I added some banana coins in between layers and some pb🤤🤤 Thenn I finished it off with some maple syrup, pb drizzled and some banana coins onnn tooppp YUMMMM💓💓
Lemon Ginger Turmeric Detox Tea 🌼🥄 Ingredients:
8 oz water
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 tbsp grated turmeric (alternatively you can use dried turmeric spice or the content of the Organifi Daily Turmeric supplement)
2 tbsp juice of lemon
1 tsp black pepper (unless you are using Organifi Daily Turmeric, it already has black pepper in it!)
Extra: 1 tbsp of honey
Boil your water.
Add the #ginger and #turmeric in a tea strainer, put it in your favorite cup and pour the boiling water through it. Alternatively, you can simply add the ginger and turmeric to your cup, just strain it after about 5 minutes to remove these spices.
Remove the strainer after about 5 minutes. Add the black pepper, lemon and if you want a little honey. Stir well and enjoy. .
