🌟 Technique Tuesday Tip 🌟
This exercise is a staple in our Barre classes here at HOP, but - you don't need a Barre to do this one at home ✔ ▪▪▪ CHAIR PLIÉ ▪▪▪ The name says it all... 👇👇👇👇 1. Stand close to the Barre on relevé (swipe left for no heel lift/relevé)
2. Bend your knees and sit back, just as though you are mimicking sitting in a high back chair.
3. Keep your arms straight and relax your shoulders.
4. Try keeping your torso upright and the crown of your head to the ceiling.
5. Press through the balls of your feet, spreading your body weight evenly across all 10 toes, and squeeze your butt as you return to standing.
6. Repeat many times 😉🔥 * This variation is done standing hip distance apart, but we constantly mix it up with different variations and foot positionings.

I loved our Barre class today. It's so nice to see the same faces showing up and being confident with how far to push themselves.
Pilates (equipment, mat or Barre) is all about progress; in a healthy, form building and educating way.

PILATES!! Here’s a little flow I taught my class today... (some of you just thought I was 5 ft of drill sergeant Trainer huh?? 😂😂) as an instructor of Barre & Pilates I’ve found that these exercises of body alignment and core strength have REALLY helped my strength training, flexibility, and overall body composition. Some people like to just stick with one form of exercise...but why?? It’s great for you and your body to constantly change things up. I try to incorporate as much Pilates in my training sessions so my clients are getting the most out of each exercise! It’s important to have body awareness and move accordingly. (Pilates videos included in my online series 😉) #pilates#magicring#barrepilates#barreworkout#pilatesworkout#functionaltraining#fitlife#fitfam
One of the best parts of Barre Pilates is that it combines strength training and cardio, so you're burning fat and building muscle at the same time. It is a blend of ballet principles, Pilates core and athletic training. The class focuses on muscle endurance, total- body toning, sculpting, mobility and joint flexibility. Book Now!
