After my pretty succesful attempt at the flooring in the ensuite we are now looking for flooring for the 1st floor family bathroom. I like the 1st one but the other half likes the 2nd. The bathroom is an aqua/teal colour scheme. Which one would be better?

Day 2 of @theinteriorstylehunter Top 5 Picks and Grant has chosen the Blend range @reedharristiles : "Reed Harris have such a great selection of tiles. My favourites fall within the Blend range, these wood look alike tiles are such a great idea for bathrooms.”
Don’t mind us but we just had to post an @itaybenitphotographer image of this black bathroom. Timber is not really a common flooring choice in Australian bathrooms but if you look to Austrian engineered board manufacturer @mafiaustralia they put a good argument forward to use it. Basically their engineered boards are designed to breathe so any moisture evaporates. We love the look and when the functionality works it is smiles all round.

We have loved seeing your #myamtico installations and Amtico followers have enjoyed seeing them too. This bathroom from @our_wee_country_cottage was one of the most popular. The gorgeous floor is Amtico Spacia, White Ash, laid in Stripwood. The fairy lights make it #festive too! #flooring#bathroomflooring
Designers' Choice is a collection of pre-designed patterns from our in-house, talented designers. One of our favourites is Basket Weave, in Parisian Pine. Works beautifully in this bathroom - where traditionally a wood flooring wouldn't be suitable.

We had a little snafu with my guest shower tile. I chose a large 4x16 matte white subway tile from Emser that has a bevel. And of course it only comes with a very unexciting bullnose finished edge tile. The tile installers had to cut the beveled tile on the sides of the shower because the width of the space was a little bit off. Instead of putting the cut pieces on the outside edge, they put them in the corners. And well, that made me have a aneurysm. So I’ve been trying to figure out a way to lay the tile edge to edge without having to cut any of the beveled tile. To make matters even more complicated, there is a very short wall to the left that would only have an inch or so of wall space after tiling and on the right, there is a very awkwardly placed window that begins very close to the tile but not AS close as the opposite wall edge. So the side walls are uneven and not symmetrical. Which I️ HATE. Thank goodness they can read my drawings because i cant explain anything in words. The floor tile which is a fun swirly black and white tile from Tile Bar will come up onto the side of the tub for a “built-in” look. I’ll also have a dichroic glass partition installed on the right side. As they have it now, the beveled tile is also on the front tub side. Sorry boys, we gotta pull that shit out. Sometimes installers have questionable judgment and sometimes they are geniuses. This was one of those unfortunate moments though. And they happen. Don’t ever feel bad about making things right or even exactly the way you want it down to the centimeter. It will make your crew better and more detail oriented. And possibly alcoholics. 😂 #remodel#renovation#interiordesign#showertile#tilework#designjunkie#lindsaystyle#guestbathroom#sketch#perspectivedrawing#generalcontractor#beveledtile#stackedtile#bathroomtile#bathtub#bathroomflooring
