I wish I could say 80/20 worked for me -- but TRUTH BOMB... it just doesn't.
It sounds terrible but I'm an all or nothing kind of girl. I'm not sure if it was growing up being told to eat everything on my plate or I just have a major issue with looking at food and NOT eating it. Can you say FOOD ADDICTION ANONYMOUS?!? I was chatting with a friend this week and she said that 80/20 is BS and she's too much of a perfectionist for that. And I thought "OMG that it me!" I can't go into a challenge group knowing I'm going to half ass it. I'll be honest, I had EVERY INTENTION of doing 80/20 while my gram is here ... it hasn't happened 😅🤦🏽♀️ I like my routine. Go hard for 3 weeks -- enjoy week 4! Obviously I don't go NUTS week 4 but I make it a point to have a pancake or lucky charms for breakfast. Ya know -- live the carb life a little.
I always feel like shit on week 4 and when week 1 comes back around I'm like LETS EFFING DO THIS 💪🏻 This is what WORKS for me. AND YES -- that is how I get and maintain my results. It's not perfect and I'm not saying I would recommend this thought process 😂 but TBH I thought I was the only one who thought 80/20 was a crock of shit 💩
So from now on, here's my promise to you guys. You will never hear me say 80/20 ever again.
If it's works for you -- I am so damn excited for you (and a bit jealous)
Especially you 90/10 folks ... damn 😍🙌🏻 But this girl likes to do 100/0 for 21 days and then 50/50 for 7.
I can't wait to get back to my normal routine and stop using my grandma as an excuse 👵🏼 The fact is I love her cooking too much to pass it up and I'm not going to feel guilty about it and I'm not going to preach something to all of you that doesn't work for me!
Until then, I'll press play every day and chase my protein shake with a donut 🍩

I have so many moms ask me how I do it all... and to be honest - a lot of times I don’t! I break down, I have my bad days, and it’s ok! We are all human... no matter what social media might make us appear to be.
I just hope to share that we are meant to struggle... our brains are wired for it. But the struggle is what makes us stronger. —
So know that YOU got this! WE got this. We can do hard things and we can do them with grace, gratitude and sometimes tears rolling down our cheeks... but together we CAN do it. ❤️

I've been trying for a while tonight and even got @davison1990 to put my legs up on the wall, but I just felt like I was going to collapse if he let go 😕😅 Anyone got any tips on how to make it a bit easier? 🙄 I really want to prove to him that one day I'll be able to do it 😂

I used to be a member of a gym that cost me close to $ 100 a month. I would come and do my workout, not talk to a single person, and then leave.
Then after a few weeks, when I had lost my motivation, I stopped going. 3X a week turn into 2X a week turned into 1 and then zero.
Nobody called me up to ask where I had been or why I wasn’t going anymore. Nobody held me accountable! Nobody asked how my eating habits were.
See that’s the difference between a gym and a challenge group. While you do your workout at home, by yourself > you are never in this alone!
There are other women and lots of mamas that notice if you go missing. 😉It’s a community that supports each other, shares best practices, and most importantly holds each other accountable.
Today I’m thankful for my awesome challenge group and the ladies hat are currently in my Clean Week group kicking butt and holding me to my word!

Have you ever woke up in a shitty mood for no reason (or because your baby won't sleep more than 2 hours at a time 🤣)?? That was me today. I have a full day ahead of me including packing up two toddlers and an infant for a three hour car ride to a four day wedding 👰🏻weekend in which I'm a bridesmaid. I did not want to spend my day hating life or myself for being so tired so I just did it. I snuck in a workout. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 Will I spend the rest of the day looking like this with black under my eyes and bloodshot tired eyes... probably, but at least I accomplished some me time that put me in the right headspace for the rest of the day!! Get your sweat on today, you deserve it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
