#sidebysidesunday edition 🆕
Left photo. 2012. BEFORE babies. Horrible diet. Exercise: non-existent. 2 years into marriage and happy 😆, busy with last semester of college. Slowly began to notice a little weight gain. Eventually started to exercise again, and eat “better” AKA count calories but still eat unhealthy food! 🤷🏼♀️ (because I didn’t know anything about proper nutrition) Lost some weight, and then got pregnant! ☺️💕
Right photo. 2017. Married with 2 kiddos. 80/20 clean eating. Healthy, balanced, happy. Best shape of my life. .

Looking forward to a great week of morning workouts, delicious food, being a witness to my family getting more intelligent (& better looking) by the minute & maybe not getting paid bc the government is shut down. 😳✌🏼
As our weekend comes to a close, I tend to get a little down, knowing that my husband has to leave us for the week. While he is away, I do my best to take each day, being present and enjoying the little moments, not rushing through the week to get to the next weekend. It’s hard though. I love this quote, “Beware of Destination Addiction – a preoccupation with the idea that happiness is in the next place...Until you give up the idea that happiness is someplace else, it will never be where you are.” I’m constantly having to check myself, making sure I have an attitude of thanksgiving, regardless of current circumstances. Being content with where we are at, while working towards where we would like to be. Treasuring the people I love, and the relationships we have been blessed with today. If we get too focused on tomorrow, we can fall into a dangerous trap, and miss out on so much. #bepresent#sundayvibes#restdayfeels#cloudshot
10 days left with the bump. Only TEN days😳 excuse me while I go freak out a little...or a lot! So many mixed emotions. Excited to meet her, but definitely dealing with the "feels" about a cesarean delivery👀 oh, and the nesting/panic has set in. I've got Corey and I in cleaning mode. Poor guy has been a trooper about my random requests and long lists of things "to-do" still😂 thank you love for coming to walk at the gym with me and for obliging to all the insane cleaning requests😘 @pakistani_fury the final countdown is REALLY on🤰🏼😳👶🏼💕 #babysipes#fitpregnancy
Fresh coffee, sunshine, harbor views and walks with my two favorite guys to wrap up this gorgeous weekend ☀️☀️ Thank God for this type of weather in January! And for the first weekend alone with Jas and Bohdi, there is nothing better than quality family time ☺️ Who else is loving this weather?! It makes me so ready for Spring 🙌
I’m spending my day with my favorite things — my family, playoff football and some of my favorite @frankandwhit products. ☝🏼 [This Mount Airy body serum is my all time favorite. I’ve never loved a scent more. 😌]

My "dream" body is my pre-baby body. I was so fit, healthy and strong (I have always lived very healthy and sporty life). I didn't see it back then... And now it's lost - or at least covered with about 30 pounds of babyweight 💎😅 I will upload few before baby and after pics later 🎆🎊🎉🎊🎆 #bbg#bbgusa#bbgmom#bbgmoms#bbground1#bbgstart#bbgcommunity
Consider the gifts you give. How much waste do they produce? The next time the holidays, someone's anniversary, birthday, or some other gift giving event comes look for gifts that are low waste. .
Some ideas are experiences, food, secondhand items, handmade items, locally sourced gifts, and more! .
And don't forget about how those gifts are wrapped. Use recycled materials, fabric, or nothing at all. 😊
37. 🎂 It's taken a long time to get here, but I feel comfortable in my skin. Skin with scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, tattoos, bumps and giggles--all of it. It's mine and I own it. Part of this had come from time and maturity, and a good part of it comes from taking care of myself: it's hard to hate your body when you see what it can do for you and you fuel it right! Self love, baby! 💕
| BALANCE |
...Is KEY. Do you want to know a secret of some of the world's most successful people?...Balance. They know how and when to unplug, and they hold self-care near and dear.
Take our girl @heykenziee. This boss babe knows the importance of balancing business building with slowing down and making time for her husband, family, friends, or to cuddle up with her four-legged BFF.
Are you making self-care enough of a priority? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I remembered why I don’t take many meal prep pictures....it takes too long to set everything up and put back away 😂! This is my breakfast, lunches and snacks for the week. Dinners we prep each night, although all meals are planned (and you can see them in my story). Looking forward to a third straight week of great eating and great workouts! Now off to get my last sweat of the week on!
haha guys who's ready to play another round of what veggies did i hide in this smoothie?! 😂😂 this one is hubs approved & he is so skeptical every time i pull out my magic bullet. 🤷🏻♀️ i promise this is a keeper though. first the good stuff --> mango, banana, almond butter, coconut-almond milk & maca powder. && then the hidden veggies (yes, more than 1!!) a huge handful of baby spinach (i'm sure you guessed that) &&&& a whole cup of riced cauliflower! 😍 honestly, don't knock it til ya try it!! 😋😋😋 & lmk if you do! 💚
Day 7/80 - Roll and Release done, and extra yoga 😌 I was planning on going for a run today, but I didn't realise how tight my legs were until I got on my foam roller 😦 I'm actually gutted because I really wanted to run in the snow 🌨❄🙁 Suppose I best listen to my body! 🙂 #obsessed#LetsStartYoga
I’m not usually a fan of rest days, but after a a week of this new program and moving around between different cities, my body and mind can really use the break!! With just under a few weeks left until we move again, I am trying to take complete advantage of taking things slow when I can and enjoying living in the moment.
"The syndrome that has tried to rule my adult life" - #teambusywoman community member Tracy Anderson (@rosevictoria09) shares ❤️. Read her heartfelt and relatable recount: link in profile @thebusywomanproject 👆🏽
"She explained that my plump tummy, adult acne and a few other visible symptoms led her to this conclusion 😐." WTH is PCOS?! "She did some blood test and scanned my ovaries...Mine looked like a bunch of holes, and that’s not right! Fertility treatment started right away with oral clomiphene and within a few months, I was pregnant (with the highest dose) and our first child was on her way 👶🏼."
"...At my heaviest, I was tipping the scales at around 105kg...At the beginning of 2017, I set myself some goals; to compete in CrossFit again 🏋🏻♀️, rid myself of the extra weight I had put on, and take back control of my food. Sugar is definitely at a minimum (if any), and my training recovery time is up - I’m leaner and happier. 😊"
