We did some suffer biking this weekend. No suffering had yet taken place at time of this photo (stay tuned), although @benspadventures smiled like this the whole time because, well, he really likes suffering.
Now that I live on Vancouver Island my chances to get up the Chief are much rarer and sporadic, but when things do line up and it works out I'm quickly reminded again of just how beautiful, exciting, and fun this little piece of B.C. really is ⛰
Set out to do Mount Strachan today which we achieved (and good lord was it beautiful!) and somehow ended up getting turned around and summiting Hollyburn Mountain from the back trails (which I didn't even know were there). All in all I must say I'm feeling pretty accomplished 💪🏻⛰🌲 This photo was one of the most epic panos I've ever taken. It was literally as long as it could be which means it was next to impossible to post here without ruining but it turned out pretty well when I turned it into two
After an intense summer of trying to open up and let good things flow in to my life, I feel so grateful to be rewarded by constantly meeting new people that I connect with deeply. There’s nothing more gratifying than feeling at home with someone who was a stranger a day before. And it’s definitely not a coincidence that these connections usually begin outside in places like this.
Taken last night in the ol' PNW after a campfire and before a lakeside walk in the woods. 💕🌲
