The goods. Tonight was full of temptations and I may or may not have eaten a whole role of Mentos (WHY though?!?!😩). Eating protein and a few chocolate chips to curb my cravings for ALL the sugar. ARGH. #realwomenconquer
After starting #purecardio2 this morning and only getting half way through it (cranky kids), I managed to get a full round in this evening! Still need to work on my coordination but I'm sure it will come to me eventually. I still managed to sweat hard and get a good workout in 💪🏋🖒

It is so so humbling to know someone took time out of their busy life to write about me. Such a feel good day all around. How can it not be when it starts off with so much deliciousness?! It's not part of my everyday, but as often as possible, a vegan chocolate shake with a bit of peanut butter and a ripe banana. Mmmm, so yummy!! And these morning workouts are suiting me well! I love my pre-workout; it's kind of like a delicious snack that gives you a kick in the pants!
It was the kind of day that I was so looking forward to with all the delicious food! Lunch was spectacular, well balanced and packed with veggies, and I knew I would be at the track later on, so I planned ahead for dinner. Nothing beats a simple pita sandwich with #PrimaDella cracked pepper turkey. I made a couple batches of homemade, five ingredient granola bars earlier in the day, so that was a spectacular sweet treat!
With a bit of planning, which is always worth it, it's easy to be prepared and to stay on track. The difference between how I felt Monday to Wednesday is night and day. Good food and plenty of water makes a huge difference!
I LOVED this workout!
I thought I was gonna die with it being cardio and this late at night BUT I didn't!
Each move was 1 minute each and almost all used a weight! Weights with cardio may be one of my new faves!! I have been less consistent with my workouts since Sunday! I am still 2 workouts behind but I will catch up!
I have let excuses win...that is over! I can so feel when I don't get my workout in!
Glad I didn't let the time be my excuse tonight! Also thank God for ENERGIZE!! :)
To be successful you must dedicate yourself 100% to your training, diet and mental approach. 💪🏼💪🏼 Thursday's are for recovering. I don't like to do nothing on off days, but I do try to get outside the gym and do something different from my usual training routine. Today's recovery workout below.
Run 🏃 5k wearing 20lb vest (finished the 5k in 24 mins and decided to keep running till I hit 30 mins)
10 Push Ups every 10 yard line on a football field down and back for 200 total reps wearing 20# vest.
1 set of stadiums.
I'll end the day with an hour of mobility and stretching. Restore the body, refresh the mind.

I was NOT looking forward to cardio today!!! 🙄Working out with an injury is really constraining! But thankfully there are modifications in EVERY workout! I still worked up a sweat and I couldn't be happier! Now time to fuel my body with my delicious shake! 😋
