Not wanting to go home we went on around to Swanage and caught the end of golden hour, slipping into blue hour. As we came along the prom I noticed the reflections in the water and had to stop, even though I was really hungry. "Just ten more minutes" turned into a productive half hour and we finally ate at The Greyhound in Corfe - recommend the food highly.#dorsetcoast#dorsetlife#swanage#sea#seascapes#photography#beachphotography
To me, #swings represent innocence and adventure. The beach and its billions of grains of sand is a metaphor for many things, as is the ocean. They are both vast and the beach, like life, can get messy. The water is cleansing and offers renewal. Its volume is also intimidating and for those who aren’t familiar one can easily get lost. The thing is, you’ll never know where you’re going if you don’t get in the water. Simple metaphors for sure — but the elixir for life’s complexities can often be found in life’s simplicities.
#inspiration and #philosophy by the #ocean on a perfect #October#beach day. #Beachphotography .
