The weekend has arrived and it's time to embrace the weekend, get back on the mat and undo all the stress and tension that a working week can often bring.
Unconsciously when we are stressed or busy we can start to close off the heart space and make ourselves hard as a protective mechanism.
Yoga is the perfect anecdote to all of the above, reconnecting the mind with the body, opening up the heart space and allowing the innate love within us all to pour back out.

P O S I T I V E | So sometimes your physical health fluctuates and sometimes your mental health does but a lot of the time these 2 things are deeply linked and they go off course together 👋 I've been putting a positive spin on being injured for a couple of months now but I don't wanna sugar coat it or suggest that every time I face a challenge I've got the perfect mantra to get me through it 🙄 Today I've woken up struggling to put my positive pants on after a very clear reminder yesterday evening that my herniated disc is not recovering and has actually got a lot worse. The prospect of lying flat on my back until my insurance company sort out a physio is not a happy one when there is work to be done! So I guess this is a reminder for myself and anyone else who need me it that it's ok not to be ok, you don't always need to soldier on with a smile on your face and you are allowed to feel fed up/sad/anxious 👊 Do I know any physios on here that can give me some advice until I get connected with one in person? 🙏 Throwing it back here to sandy beaches, a body that moves and a bum that can eclipse the sun ☝️

Eating disorder is maybe first a mental health issues, but then it starts to become a physiological problem... .
When you restricting yourself you deprive yourself of the proper nutriment, you start to be in a deficiency. Now it’s not only your mind who urges you to binge, but it’s also your BODY !
On top of that, in your binge, you don't give the healthy & proper nutriment that your body needs (like healthy fats or carbs because you’re afraid of them) So, the instant you are going to put something in your mouth, your body will urge you to eat as much as you can in prevention to the next restriction & in order to absorb as many nutriment as he can. (Moreover if you are underweight, it’s now not only your mind & your body who tell you to EAT MORE, but it’s also your brain as for underweight people, there is a decrease on the level of leptin, which increases the feeling of hunger and force you to eat)
You are now in a caloric deficit because of your excessive amount of workout, you are tired, your muscles, your brain, your whole body NEEDS food to be fuel, but you keep restricting yourself because you know you are going to binge after ... And so ? ... You get deeper into your eating disorder habit, and you feel even more tired each day. But you keep pushing yourself even more harder each day anyway...
GET OUT OF THIS VICIOUS CIRCLE ! Don't be afraid to step back up, to love again, to leave again, to dream again. Don't let a hard lesson harden your heart ! ☝🏼️💞
