Yeah, that's right. You heard me. I'm in charge here. 😂. This photo is just too much fun and is exactly how I'm feeling these days. I've slayed some monstrous beasts over the past year and this #tiubikiniseries has me feeling like I can finally start standing up for myself again after being torn down and worn down by life. I can't say I'm completely back to normal, but I'm so much closer than I was even a couple months ago. .
Killed my workouts today. Got in the daily moves, yoga flow, 2 mile run, 1 mile walk, and taught a Saikel class! Meals were on point but i did enjoy myself tonight at a friends birthday party. But I'm a mama of a baby with a cold right now which means neither of us is getting much sleep right now. So, I'm off to bed. I went to the open gym session this morning at @central_outback_crossfit and hit some legs. 💪
👉 Front Squats - 6 Sets.
👉 Barbell Walking Lunges - 4 Sets.
👉 30" Box Jumps - 3 Sets of 20.
👉 Skipping - 10 Minutes.
Both strength and functional training in one and it was great! I really enjoy skipping as cardio actually and hadn't picked up a rope in years.
One thing you will learn quickly is to leave your ego lifting at the door and focus on lifting with form before adding the heavy weight. There are no mirrors at all to watch yourself train which was kinda strange at first but means you've got no choice but to look inside for motivation and not at yourself in a mirror. 😉
The crossfit regional competitions are on at the moment too so that was playing in the background on TV. Awesome environment to train in and a pretty good start to the day in my books. 💯
